Notice that Lake Havasu City has asked that several of these speed trap/revenue generating camera's be installed in Lake Havasu, a city, by design, is hard to speed much more than the posted speed limit on many streets.

This is another example of how Lake Havasu puts a higher priority on collecting money through the courts than it does on Justice and safety.

Photo radar is "ok" if they reduce the number of cops and officers of the courts, one person for each photo radar unit.

Photo radar is in eyes of the people, who give consent to be governed, wrong. You cannot face a camera in court, you cannot xross examine a photo radar, you cannot tell if it was properly calibrated on the day you were ticketed, you cannot verify that it was the camera that ticketed you.
Also if it was not you driving in the car you have to "give up" the person who was driving. If it was your wife then you are effectiving forced to give up your 5th amendment rights.
Photo Radar is only good if you have a jursidiction looking to add funds to the treasury. The photo radar has not been shown to make the roads safer, in fact some studies show they make the road more unsafe!

During installation the need to also install a target for the local sportsman, in the rural areas this could become a new sport,m as well as costly for maintenance
