You are going to see some shenanigans pulled as the Litchfield Museum materializes.

Some of the personalities presently in city hall have their beedy eyes upon this facility and it hasn't even come out of the ground yet.

Who will be the "Curator"? Do you think the present City Administrator has his eyes on this position?

Is it already being considered for the city department of "Tourism" to relocate its office there?

Is this museum going to be volunteer staffed or is it going to be more bureaucratic leaching on the taxpayers of this town?

Keep watching this as it progresses.

saw the floor plan of the MUSEUM, countin office space + kitchen,+ two Handi-cap bathrooms, and city tourism space you'll see most of the wall space for the museum part will be taken up by doors to the offices. a kitchen in a museum is like a kitchen in a litchfield firehouse, ya never know WHOS comin to dinner wit Wendy;s right down the road.wounder if that floatig budget could hold the secret of who gets the other two offices in THE MUSEUM?????

yes the floor plan clearly shows the Litchfield Toursim Office, MAYBE THE RENT ON THIS OFFICE will help PAY for this Building.

There should be room for the ZOO outside in the back of it.. But they would have to move it there from the city hall.

What kind of Tourism do you have in Litchfield that requires a high paid girl to oversee?

Someone is internal with the museum committee who is already inserting beuaracracy into the museum. I bet before it is occupied, it will have a "Curator" who is not very well liked in Litchfield and knows nothing about management.

I also bet this is going to cost the taxpayers a bunch of money that the city already does not have.

If the City of Litchfield is planning to lure "tourists" off of the Interstate to make a "must-see" destination at the top of the list of "must-see" destinations, we are going to need more than a museum and a tourism office with nothing more to offer than tours (paid) of the museum.

St. Louis has the Arch, Springfield has Lincoln. Hell, even Morrisonville has the "Worlds Largest Frog Jump" What do we as a tourist trap have to offer? No, no Before you even think it, Washington DC is still tops in the "Bullsh*t" catagory. We need something concrete. Yes!!! SOMETHING CONCRETE !!!!! We could build the world's biggest blob of Concrete!

If you don't like that idea, I got a million more...some even better.

we could have a magic show at DODO The LOU. or maybe a ANDY & his Friend TOMMY, ventrioquist show
since the hand is up anyway, naaa the blob of concrete sounds more interesting . it better than hearing a dummy talk anyway.

WWwwwweeeeellll, Litchfield Police Dept. has a pellet pistol of mine that they took from under my car seat, claimed someone was shooting at store front windows and.... NO,..it weren't me! But I guess I was a likely teenager. Now which one of ya all was it? Seems like I was chasing down a little gal called "Buttons." First time I've told this in like 52 years!
