Lombard board remains split on who should be acting leader Updated...

Three Lombard trustees walked out of a meeting in progress Thursday night, ending what they saw as fruitless discussions about who should serve as acting village president until the April election.

That was just so unprofessional, irresponsible and immature for 3 trustees to walk out of a Board meeting. They walked out on the people of Lombard.
It seems those 3 are "stuck" on Gron and that is it. Period. No negotiations. No consensus. Gron or no one.
So maybe it is best to have no mayor for 8 months and the people of Lombard can remember that when election time comes around for those 3 Trustees.
Lombard citizens are OWED trustees who act professionally, responsibly, with maturity, grace and dignity.
Remember these words at election time: professional, mature, responsible.
