Look up District of Columbia vs Heller. In 2008 the Supreme Court found only dangerous and unusual weapons can be banned. Weapons in common use at the time cannot be banned. I would say that Ar 15 are very common. I am not making this up. I just read it. Look it up. A criminal with no weapon at all is far more dangerous than an honest person with an AR. Interesting guy please use common sense. ARs are just another gun. If the mass shooters used 12ga. shotguns with 000 buck they would kill many more than with an AR. To stop gun killings you would have to get every gun in the world and destroy them. Can that happen? Then people would make them. How can it help by taking away my gun. It can't use your head DM.

To interesting guy If I have demons they are kept in check by experience and common sense. Been there done that learned from it.Seen the world its goods and bads would rather have it good but there is always peaple who prefer bad. I will try to stop that. Freedom and peace do not come cheap. I have demons becuase I have done things I do not feel are right kept quiet about things/marched in rote with the govt wishes. There is the letter of the law and the spirit of th law. the spirit is normally taken by veiws of the time or those in power. the letter of the law is based on deinitions on record that is until the dicitionary is changed. I would rather bear demons myself than have a person of your mind set have to deal with them. Not noble just the way I am/ Stay strong but open to change. The world is in flux/ things are not always black/white / good/ I hope when the need comes I will not falter. I hope it never does a unprepared man is one doomed to failure

You are lucky in a gun battle I would lose in the end to the illegals and corrupt out to hurt peaple. BUT IT WOULD BE COSTLY FOR THEM. Stockpiling is for seige If I survive I will take from my attackers if not I will not give them more ammo. I have always been trained for one shot one kill.Auto fire pinpoints ones location for incoming. Hope for peace but in todays world be not afraid of war.Obey lawful law that does not threaten you.Protect youself if needed Better to be judged than carried by six. Life and freedom is worth fighting for. BEEN THERE DONE THAT

Please continue to tell us all about your combat prowess, and how you're "trained for one shot one kill." I think we could learn a lot about survival from you.

Public forum? What are you talking about? Public forums are pointless virtual space populated by people with an ax to grind and trolls. Meaningless in the world of making policy. And the NY law was not "pushed through without due process or following of the rules of passing a law." It's 100% legal. Just like it's completely asinine but 100% legal to buy an assault rifle from a "private" person (whatever that means) at a "gun show" without a background check. We need to shut that shyte down NOW!
Anyhow, we will NEVER agree on this so let's just agree to disagree, ok? You can keep fingering your little boy toys all you want. I just hope one day all weapons will be registered and as public information and all assault weapons made illegal. That's what I want. You, obviously, disagree. I know that one day my side of the argument will win-out legally and constitutionally. Counting the days ...
As you say the pulics input and knowledge or lack there of is pointless as the govt will do what it will do regardless of information right or wrong. It is what it is that does not make it right. Continue to put your control and thinking in someonr elses hand as you say input ftrom concerned or informed sources is pointless. The govt by your thinking can take away your talking on the internet just by a late evening session as a rider on a bill.It is legal gone is the first admend no informed input your voice does not count Many of the peaple who served to support the govt may not agree with your set back let someone else think for you idea

Yea, you are a great America. Currency should have your image on it because you brought a bunch of bullets to hunt HUMAN BEINGS because it's your Constitutional right. It's interesting how many people complain
about constitutional rights when they add nothing to the betterment of America. If I was in Congress, I would make sure a gun regulation bill would be passed. You can't have special interest groups dictating the way laws are debated. Sickening

i agree with you to some extent/ dan the man is going into survivalist mode. Scary is not it. He would feel that way with or without law pushed on him.I intend my weapons for protection not attacking. The man with the gun will have to come for me. I will not go looking for a fight but will not back away if threatened.Running gets you shot in the back. The stock piling of ammo means a drawn out fight it will not last that long. As for gun advocates most of them are peaple who fought for their country and have seen what a group with a gun can do against unarmed peaple Our country was founded by peaple who took up arms. History will show that approx every 20 years or so our govt is somewhere with soldgers enforcing there rule. The industral revolution flurished by warfare. NEVER SAID IT WAS RIGHT OR FAIR This country is not held togeather by pacifists. In the end if the peaple want gun laws they will obey and enforce them if not the ones that stand agapnst order will fall in covert warfare.POLICE STATE MARTIAl law not good if there is a fight i will be ready if not i will kill man nomore

Atleast till i woke up to the new gun law in ny. I woke up a outlaw, that is just insane. We have these people that want laws for everything and I mean everything. This country was formed to be free and away from the rule of kings and promised the new people a equal chance at prosperity and FREEDOM. These are the very things that they are taking away from us now. I feel the gun laws are what it finally took to wake up the conservatives and get them out there and voice there thoughts. The left has always been politically active because the old US was not to there liking so they pushed hard and got stuff passed. Guess what, now the rights are gonna get the country back,or atleast stop the socialist momentum. The people that like our country the way it was originally designed should stay here in the land of the free. If you don't like it that way hop on a boat and go find your dictator of choice. Do me a favor and check there crime rates and gun laws before the boat leaves you might see it differently then. Sorry for the rant, but these socialist leftist are irritating if they don't like the country move. Remember unless you are a Indian your family decided to move here to be FREE.
FELLOW CONSERVATIVES GET OUT THERE AND VOTE AND ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO BE ACTIVE AND VOTE ALSO. SEE YA AT THE RALLY BRING THE FAMILY

No it was freed because the true founders took up arms to free themselves from the king. The right to bear arms is for your good too. To protect ourselves from the government and keep them in check. You leftist are something. Let me ask you this, would it bother you if you were made by law to have a gun? Yes i thought so. So we don't try to make you, so why do you want to take mine? I am legal to do so. I have a conceal carry permit. I have passed background checks yet you fear someone that has guns. I think the problem lies in your mental state, you are probably the type that gets so mad you have evil thoughts there for you think everyone does. That is why you fear them. You think crime would go down if all the thieves knew everyone was unarmed.. that is crazy thinking, the bad people would love knowing there prey was unarmed. Example: picture this neighborhood A is unarmed neighborhood C is armed neighborhood B is thieves, rapist, druggies and killers. They know who has guns and who don't. Who will they prey on, i bet not the ones that has the ability to protect themselves. You dial 911 and wait 10 minutes neighborhood C will give them reason to stop there ways.

Interesting guy. I think I know who you are. I have heard you talk about guns at Mc Donalds. You used the same words. What is your background. Any Law Enforcement? Any military? You must know you are a minority around here. Why don't you move to NYC. You would fit in better there. Look at our crime rate here. Very low. Gun onership very high. Again shotguns with 000 buck would be a more effective tool for mass shooters than an AR. They just don't know that much about firearms. You also may know very little about them. Any gun in the hands of an honest person is not dangerous. I know gun accidents happen. They are bad. But people run over their kids with cars or mowers too. We can't make laws to stop everything. To think that is very foolish. I think there should be a law for those that drive too slow. Theres people that do it just to bother others. They even have signs on there trucks that say the closer you get the slower I go. I would like to see a law to stop that. But I know the law wouldnt work. Laws can't fix everything.

Demons of ones past are hard to forget Training goes hand and hand with luck of the draw. In everything in life look to all possible outcomes good and bad and try to limit your mistakes. A person who travels light travels fast. Always watch your 6 (behind) look for the best positions pro and con. Try to have a escape plan. Hope the other person underestimates you is less prepared but do not count on it.Try to advoid conflct

Why don't you go ph*k yourself? Telling anyone to move because they don't agree with you and your kind? What a load of unadulterated spooge.

I detect a not-so-veiled threat to Interesting Guy in your words. Is that really the message you want sent? A cloud of fear and hate? I fear no man, but I recognize the tactics of intimidation.
