Driver 'veered into' cyclist on I-20 service road, DPS says

Larry McQuien, vice president for business ventures with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, died Saturday after being hit by a vehicle while on a bicycle ride.

I guarantee she was texting! What is it going to take to stop this crazy behavior? Texting is as bad as DUI... innocent people die due to bad choices other people make. We need to get serious and punish this behavior before more die. I am swerved at and nearly run over frequently. Enough is enough! If it were your father would you take action? Write your legislators and let's push for the punishment, education, and technology this deserves.
