Does anyone have any information on this lady? She is homeless and left Lawrence back in May of '08. She is 54 years old and decided to move into her old hometown after something happened in Lawrence. She is mentally unstable but has been taken in by a church. She is know to knock on doors and ask for money from the elderly.

She has an undergraduate degree from K-State and a Master's from K-U. She is an advocate of solar energy and is know to "go off" at people who do not agree with her point of view.

Just trying to find out why she left Lawrence.

I don't know. This woman goes beyond liberal, she is absolutely certifiable. I think Lawrence needs her back.

She ran for county commission here and lost. I heard she is going to try for city council. And NO, there are no rules that says you have to have a home to run for office. And she knows how to beg for money. One critical asset any politician has to have.

She needs to go back to Lawrence!

I heard her sister was murdered by Dr. Stein and Dr. Reeves because the state did not want to cover the costs of her care as a head injured patient. Kansas Board of Healing Arts refuses to register the complaint. They have been tyranizing Ms. Smith since the gruesome medical murder in 1985. She has really done quite well despite the ongoing attempt to discredit a wrongful death complaint.

Despite the related challenges in her life, she completed a Master's in Architecture at KU and founded the SOLAR DEVELOPMENT COOPERATIVE in 1992. She wrote a related book called "ElectriCity BEYOND THE CURVE OF DEREGULATION" released in 2005 and about the same time founded a non-profit in Kansas called the Kansas Solar Electric Co~peratives, Inc.

Despite the closing of all of the GEOCITES websites by AT&T this week on October 26, 2009 with help she managed to save most of the information on her websites and is pursuing the Phase I Demonstration to install 10,000 SF BI-PV Solar in Kansas by 2022. See 2009 Annual Report.

She is not a liberal, she is an American. Kansas presently depends on coal-fired power for 80% of the electricity consumed in Kansas.
