Its sad and disturbing but lets not jump the gun and start blaming or questioning the parents of these two guys. They are adults and were quite aware of what they were doing.

It dont matter how they where raised, or who raised these monsters, they are not human.
I bet ya money these two were into violent video games, they become desensitized with the violence.

I disagree on your Video Game Theory. It completely depends on the person & their maturity level! No worse than when my Son was deployed to a War Zone at the age of 19 & YES he played plenty of what you call "Violent" Video Games too! My Son is a fine young Man & an upstanding Citizen in this Community!

Lol it has nothing to do with video games! If u watched a violent movie or read a violent book does that make u want to go hurt someone?

Our entire society has been desensitized. We no longer care about others and it's all "me..me..me". What "me" can benefit is the viewpoint.

This sounds so much like the Cindy Lou Mason murder in 1983. Mike Poling and Chris Deckard tortured and murdered that young girl. Let's hope the Greene County Prosecutor's Office has come a long way since Deckard walked on his case.

I didn't say ALL people who play video games, where killers, or that they made you want to kill!
I said, I bet THEY, meaning these two boys, where desensitized, an I believe certain people can be effected, different ways by seeing such vivid, realistic killing going on in these games.
You don't have to agree, let's just see if this is part of thier defense.

This whole story makes me sick. And to add to that the one guys wife had the nerve to be on the WTHI facebook page and say how her husband wouldnt have to rape anyone that she satisifes him at home. Well number one ,obviously it goes way beyond a desire for sex, and number two, how many loving husbands/fathers are out on the prowl in the middle of the night while their wife and child are home? Im sure at this point she is rethinking her post and probably has deleted it. Not blaming her or any of their family members, but they really should refrain from any public comments.

Well, one of them was like 26 and I believe he is married with at least one child.

Desensitization comes from from many factors. As a society, we have become more insensitive and disconnected from human contact. It is an issue that has caught a good bit of attention from the medical field.

They are two sick monsters! To think now this girls family will never get to hold her or hug her because of those two monsters.

They are selfish wanted to see what it felt like? To think of it, to question it, to plan it, to live it, and not stopping at any point........

These men are NOT sick...people do not choose to be sick. They CHOSE to be evil and carried out an evil act.A person can a have a sickening thought but to act on that though is evil. Don't confuse the two. All kinds of thoughts and ideas may pass through the mind but are dismissed by the conscience...this is our human nature. But to act on something as horribly vile as was carried out by these two men is pure evil....PERIOD!
