My grandmother used to own the Clifton Hotel. It is a true shame that someone would burn down a historic part of mine and so many of my families childhood. I hope that they are caught and punished to the true extent of the law. This was a place I would have liked to been able to revisit.

I am from Virgil Kansas also, and I would,in the 70's I totally agree with you on this being a true shame. My Family and myself enjoyed many days, and evening's at the Clifton and I would have liked to beleave it would have remained a part of our history there forever, I would like to say I am so sorry for your loss, Debbie, New Mexico. |
