I'm betting that most of the people on here complaining about these closings are not themselves veterans but republican whiners who think they have a winning issue. Forget it!

We veterans are not the helpless bunch that you seem to think we are . The services provided by the GVOACs were appreciated but we now know that they are no more. We also know that the VA and the Vet Centers are available to assist us.

The same sense of sacrifice and love for country that compelled us to serve also makes us aware that there are others in this country with legitimate needs.

Thanks to the GVOAC staff for a job well done. It's now time for us and you to move on.

Oh quit your silly whining...this is not hurting veterans....they still have access to all the services......too many idiots shout about "NO TAXES" and this is what happens.
But the veterans are still going to get their services. Find a real issue!
Sorry to disagree with you but when I lived in Erie I worked with homeless vets and the Veteran's outreach help in getting veteran more than just one's beni's. The Vet reps also did a lot of traveling to areas to area were there was no representatives... so if anyone sounds like an idiot it is you!

BTW the Vet Center also makes trips to outlying areas to deliver their services.

There is more attention and public monies being focused on illegal aliens and Muslims imports into this country then US military veterans. Priorities of public monies should not be on foreigners, legal or illegal, residing in this community. It should continue to focus on our veterans.

BTW....I don't know about you, but before I'm a Democrat, Republican or whatever, I'm an American first and a Patriot second. I wish you and others of your ilk would stop demonizing people for their party affiliation.

Sorry to burst your BS bubble but I did serve, I just don't wear it on my sleeve... When I worked with homeless vets I referred many to the GVOAC as they did an outstanding job.

Daily Horoscope for December 10

Aries

One of the family needs plenty of love and attention today, but the trouble is that you may not be able to spare the time. If so, you'll be consumed with guilt and self-reproach, and this may become so strong that it casts a blight over the day. So do what you can to let them know you're thinking about them, but resist the temptation to berate yourself over things you can't change.
