Am I the only one who can't quite fathom how the headline, about two sisters who say a man "forced them into prostitution," fits with the facts in the story? The story says a pimp offered to pay their bills and rent, and promised them half the money they brought in. They accepted his offer and started turning tricks; later, one girl wanted to stop because neither girl "was getting her share of the money." So apparently she would have continued working as prostitute, if the pay had only been better? What was she expecting from a pimp -- health benefits? A 401(k)? Yes, the pimp apparently threatened them, and deserves to be behind bars -- but that happened after they agreed to become prostitutes. They weren't kidnapped or initially coerced; they wanted to make "a lot of money," then, golly, they decided they "didn't feel right about the situation." Clearly, this isn't a case of anyone being forced into anything. It's a case of two girls who made a deal to perform sex acts for cash, then ended up with buyer's (or I guess you'd call it, "seller's") remorse.
