So that made it alright then? No one hates anyone on this, just asking questions, the same questions asked about the last group.

Yea we can all see your love. Your whole point on anything you post rides the wheel of hate and revenge,In case you don't know(which im sure you do) the old administrator was going to hire a assistant if she stayed on the job.The new administrator did the same thing with less money.it's not that hard to see jerky.

So, OK, once again, you blasted the policies and actions of the past board and administrator, but when it benefits one of yours then you use it is an example. Regardless of who, what, and when this was broached as an idea. The idea of a $75K assistant to a village admin is totally crazy. I hope he gets flowers on secretary day as well.

My wheel of hate as you put it stinky is toward poor goverment which is now rearing its ugly head in Antioch. You complained daily about cap and now your joke of a mayor is doing EVERTHING he wined about and was going to change. All that changed are the NAMES. YOU complained for 4 years about the same thing but for some reason its now OK.Onward and Downward

I think the new mayor is doing just what he was elected to do. He is assembling a team of people he trusts as a means to achieve his dream for the village.

As he said at his first meeting, if his choices are not good, he will be replaced in the next election - because he knows that the people of Antioch is who he represents, they elected him and can replace him too, so his loyalties are with them (us) and not the special interest groups of the past administration.

I for one feel his heart is in the right place, and I've heard many others in town saying the same thing. It's a good feeling, we like him!

I have faith in his wisdom and vision for this town and urge any doubters to give this new administration a chance, a true chance, and if in time they are not moving this community in the right direction, voice your opinions then with constructive advice as opposed to loosely-connected comparisons to the past administration which alienated most of the people in this town.

Because it is undeniable that Antioch voters, who didn't trust long-time Antioch politicians, were quick to run them out-of-town, within two elections, and that is a mandate if I have ever seen one.

I agree with giving him a change but it is deals like this that seem to have been done before they started is what gave old groups a bad name with many in the village. To pretend Parks wasn't associated with Hanson in the past is silly so I think it's safe to say we can end this argument now.

If Hanson has ideas about what we need and who we need to help us get there, it would be nice to hear about it before it happens. More and open communication as promised does not mean hiring people with past connections under unexplained and non-discussed application and interview processes. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Cancer

You've had enough time to yourself lately. This is a day to focus on family, with all the good and bad that that brings. Crabs would much rather be at the top of the tree than down near the roots, but that's life. You might be smart when it comes to matters of the heart, but you don't know it all quite yet.
