Hannah's BBQ

I have eaten at Hannah's BBQ in Lenoir and it is one of my favorite BBQ joints. Why is it that when I drive by Hannah's BBQ in LINCOLNTON at any point in the day, no cars are outside, except maybe one that is the owner? You would think it would be really busy... I have never eaten at the one in Lincolnton.

i have eaten at the one in lincolnton,it was very good. the man there told me the meat was shiped in from another hannah's, i think he said lenoir, allthough i am not 100% sure. we go to the one in claremont alot and like it. we are closer to the one in lincolnton, but it seems when we think of hannah's, we think of the one in claremont. it must be the location, in lincolnton, if it is not on main street,people just don't remember it.

Lots of places in Lincolnton/Boger City is like that. Very empty during times that it should be full. Yes, location is an issue but Zaxbys is on mainstreet and they have a similar parking lot through out the day and week.

I would say its because we have soo many choices to eat and everyone is just spread out...but I would also say there is no reason to eat at those places when you could go to Hickory and shop at the mall and catch some good food from a well known eating place.

I had no clue what Hannah's was before and I still dont know it is even after I ate there. Simply because nothing about it Hannah's makes it DIFFERENT from any other "small" BBQ place. The Menu isnt much and the food eh...theres room for improvement. Its probably different at the other locations.

But yeah...Ive only ate there once...wont be going back. I think others in town perfer BBQ King...doesnt mean its better just means its old faithful.

Went into the new ABC Store today, been noticing some changes to the old Burget King next to it and I asked and they said that Hannah's BBQ was moving into it very soon.

So, maybe they will be a bit more busier and with a larger place the menu can be a bit more diverse.

Before too long Hannah's will be replaced with Moose's Pizza! CANT WAIT!

No I do not own it but a close friend does. It will be carry out and delivery... a lot of good stuff on the menu besides pizza!

B B Q King is good. Sometimes you get a lot of fat in it!!! I wish those girls would not hollar out orders like they were in a pig pen!!! But, that is redneck Lincolnton!!!!

Ive never heard it quite described that way but most of the girls are often highschool age some a bit older and its the only way to relay the orders in such a close area.

Id say you have a ways to go in Lincolnton before you get the real rednecks ... just saying if you as your name states are from the north you might think that the whole place is redneck.

But the people who live here can show you where the TRUE rednecks are... ;)

We are shooting for the first of July ...it depends on when Hannahs is able to move out.

That building never stays on the market that long.

Hope the Hospital leaving that area doesnt hurt. Although, you said it has delivery... and hopefully whatever Lincolnton decides to do with the old hospital ... that location could be in the perfect just outside spot.

I think The Old BurgerKing/Extreme Burgers is just about to finish up. I need to get to Hollywood soon Maybe Ill ride by it and look in.

I'm not too good at threads and postings so I'm having trouble figuring out if Hannah's is closing and if so, what is coming in it's place? As for the old hospital: We were at the Open House for the new facility yesterday, and were told the old building is being turned over to the County and after an extensive refurbishment it will house various county offices and departments...putting them under one roof instead of spread throughout Lincoln County.

Current Hannah's BBQ Location is closing.

New Hannah's BBQ is opening next to the new ABC Store down in there with Food Lion.

Old Hannah's according to member who posted will be becoming a Pizza Place.

It was annouced awhile back they were working out the kinks on what to do with the old hospital. That being one suggestion. If they annouced it at the Open House it must bet he one they choosed.

Its smart idea but I would expect they would still be lots of remodeling and maybe some rebuilding to make sure everything is how it should be.

In either case, a Hospital has family of patients who want something close to go eat at or shop at if they are spending lots of time with their family. The county offices might not draw the same effect.

Which is why the New Hospital will basically change the total landscape as we know it in Boger City. Lots of things are planned and lots of land and house is being sold and rezoned to Commerical and Medical.

Just went by and they have the Moose signs up now all over the place...

Although, I think its like Moooosssee on the sign or soemthing like that.
