Why did Chris Sununu, owner of Lantern/WV, fire Marketing Director Bobby Foster on 1/11/2013?? Cash flow problems required immediate cost reductions??

No marketing director will be able to combat all the bad press recently.

Bob Fries, Bobby Foster, Tom Gross and Joe Jung all seperated from WV ski resort. Good or bad, you decide. Maybe Chris Sununu is a genius and marvelous cost cutter.

Really???? Sununu is now flying solo on this? Was this just a salary dump or were there really that many problems "at the top"????

Did the mountain make money this season? is it safe to buy a 2014 season ski pass?

No ski area shows a profit on 185,000 skier days. T. Corcoran had to dump the area, then American Ski, then Booth Creek and slowly it will eat up the Sununu LLC Group. Outside of Silver Streakers, on weekdays, no one is here. Season is over mid March. Buy your ticket, your safe for another year!!

So, if there's no money, what's the deal with Green Peaks ?? Or is that to bump up the value when they sell to the group from Jay Peak ??

If Sununu does as good a job of running the Mountain/Resort as he's done with the Lantern..... you can turn out the lights.

He runs the Lantern like it's a food venue at the mountain; absolute ZERO in the feel and personality of the place.

Perhaps we should start a new labeled thread for mountain gossip ?? Punctuation and proper English required ?? Who's in ??
