Con-artist, Beware!
Firnhaber told me he could look over my past medical records and do some tests and figure out why I was having unexplained symptoms. He wanted me to do a whole list of "tests" that would cost me over $1,500! His "tests" were complete shams, like when I was sitting, he had me put my right arm in the air out to my side and did several different things to me while "pushing down" on my arm. This was supposed to be an indicator to him of my "conditions," as he said different things would make me "weak." Since he only pushed down on my arm when he wanted to say I was "weakened" by what he was doing, this was obviously a sham test. The rest of the times he would only flex his arm and grip my arm with his fist, but exerted no downward pressure. He claimed that holding up different substances to my torso or having me hold them in my hand, most being in sealed baggies or vials, would make me "weak" if they were what was causing the problem. The times he said I was "weakened" were obviously determined in advance in order to make me believe that certain things were wrong with me that could correspond to my different complaints, so that he could sell me his over-priced supplements and get me to do more expensive "tests".

I am so glad im not the only one. he said he needed to examine me and he just pushed really hard on my body at different parts and wouldnt stop until i told him that it hurt repeatedly. Last time i go to a chiropracter for other health issues. what a quack!

I have been going to Dr. Firnhaber for a number of years, and at first the method of treatment he used was different from other chiropractors I had gone to, but I found his adjustments lasted far better than being jerked and twisted. I also have had nutritional testing and blood work done in his office. I can say without a doubt, I am much healthier now than when I started coming to him and am more energized. I really don't relate to all the negative comments made, because he helped me considerably.

I have been a patient of Dr. Firnhaber's for many years and I can say he has helped me tremendously. I totally disagree with the above negative comments. I agree, his methods of treatment are different from other chiropractors, but I can tell you what he does works. His nutrition testing is excellent also. I have had many medical problems in the past and not one dr. could help me or offer solutions.

My family has gone to him for years! If you want to be healthy and not on prescription drugs he is the guy. It did seem weird at first how he diagnosis: but actually very right on! My 89 year old mother is drug free and pain free thanks to dr Firnhaber : she is mentally sharp and exercising everyday, she has been his patient for approx 20 yrs!! We are big fans of him!

Those who had negative comments apparently didn't do any research before going into the office. The technique of using your arm to get diagnoses is called applied kinesiology, or commonly, muscle testing, and has been used for many years with great success. The mental, physical, physiological and spiritual aspects of or bodies are all integrated and cannot be compartimentalized.
Therefore, when you place something in the area of your solar plexus, the muscles respond. The doctor is not exerting more or less pressure; your muscles are releasing or not releasing, depending on the stimulus they're receiving. But if you are coming strictly from an allopathic, pathology driven model of "health" care, then this will seem all too crazy to you. The real lesson here is this: do you want to try something that is natural and works WITH the body's inherent ability to heal, or do you want to assualt it, "manage" it, coerce, or otherwise control its processes? I have chosen the first model for years, and my state of mind and health show it!
