In Reference to the article written Tuesday 11/18/08.(Waynesfield 14 yr old CLAIMS to be abducted.)
As a close friend to the family of the 14 yr old girl and a member of the community, I'm deeply saddened by the way the community is responding to this tragic accident due to the way the news worded this article people were mislead and some are even saying she made it up! If you could see what this crazy man did to this poor child and talk to everyone involved, you would understand that this is true and can happen in a small town. This is something she has to live with the rest of her life. Don't you think she has been through enough. So to all the people harassing her or those making judgments, now is not the time! Instead we should all be pull together as a community and be there for her and her family! The next time this may occur the child might not be as lucky to escape!(and I hope no family or child has to go through this) So instead of all the here say, lets put fourth the effort and find this predator!

Why has there been no information on this case since that day? I can't beleive the sheriffs office hasn't posted a description of this man and they haven't released any information so that the parents of the near by communities can know what to watch out for. If this all really went down I don't understand why they wouldn't let the community know something so we can all protect our kids and homes, and watch for this creep. I for one would like to hear some updates on this case, and I am glad that the girl is ok and only pray she is able to recover from this horrible event, I just hope her family and the cops let out a little information for the rest of us, I am afraid for all kids right now. I think the rumors are going around about it being untrue because there has been no more information about it since the day after it happened, I blame the rumors on the Sheriffs office for lack of information on the news not on the girl or the family. My children know this girl and we believe this really happened but hope that the sheriffs office lets info out soon before she has to keep hearing more crap about it being a lie!!

I'm sure that anyone who believes that this poor girl is making this horrible story up (when she showed up to their neighbors house badly beaten), would love to say that to her big brother and father.. Thats just terrible. Prayers are with her and the family.
