The media has focused so much on how decorated this young man was and how he spent time in Iraq. The tradgedy here is not his PTSD but the loss of two lives. I don't care how you look at it or how you try to justify it. The man brutally and maliciously took the life of a young woman who had her whole life ahead of her. No tradgedy in your own life gives you the right to take another. Until this country stops using exscuses for the things we do to one another and allows it to continue it will. This girl spent many days in my home growing up and it makes my heart break to know what happend to her. My family has a military background but I dont use it to justify this young mans chosen actions. God Bless both of these families as they endure to most difficult thing in their lives.
