you all are still idiots. you can be a good person and still have troubles in your life. You don't know nothing about it and maybe and hopefully you will be put in this situation and your attitude would be different. As I said i don't blame the cops for protecting themselves all i said was they are lieing when they said they didn't know it was a kid. the sherriff was fine and i appreciate all the service men and women but some of them are just as dirty as all these thugs you keep talking about. MLH why don't you ask his parents how he got out of the house with all the guns ans amunition considering they all come from his house. I said i know of the kid honest man who can't spell God with a big "G" like it's suppose to be. I didn't live with him or around him. You all are just sick and want to run your mouths about things that don't concern you. Have you heard on the news that the cops are getting the blame for anything. No. I don't think so and I'm not blaming them either. Can't you all find something better to do than waste your time on something that is none of your business or concern. You all are just as sick as that kid was for commenting on blogs. You never know when one of your kids may go out and do something stupid like this either. I have better things to do than keep blogging to you idiots that don't know what happened and haven't been involved in the investigation and you for all people should know everything you hear isn't the truth. All the news stations told a different story so which one is really true. Hmmmm. Have a blessed day and May God be with you all because it sounds like you definitly need him and then you wouldn't be making accusation on things that don't concern you.
I have had some bad times in my life...but I never thought about grabbing a gun and shooting someone, especially the po-po. I doubt you know as much about this investigation as you think you do...you may know one side of it, but not the other. How do you know the cops are lying? I have personally seen some 13 year olds who were 6 foot tall and weighed over 200 pounds....didn't look like kids to me, even in the day light. In any event, I hate the kid got killed and I hate the cop got shot...now he has to live with shooting one and suffering from his own injuries. Thoughts go to both families.

Wow a kid had a gun. Shot a cop. So they kill him? Guess they don't train anything else in police school around here. Wouldn't be to hard to just disarm him. PIGS.
The kid shot first, what do expect to happen? I would have shot him too.

Those police were doing their job. Only thing they did was ask the boy wat he was doing with a gun and amunition in his bag and he pulls out 9mm and shoots at the cops. Whether the boy was 13 or 25, if you shoot at law enforcement then they are to shoot back. As the boy stated on his myspace page, he was going suicidal and was planning to do something to get himself killed so he did. Why is a 13yr old walking around that time of night with 2 guns anyway? Where were the parents? Had they known he wasnt home? Questions is what we all have..

Get the whole story. This is everyone's problem. The police are trying to do a job and someone's child is dead. Have a thought and a prayer for all involved. It is so very sad, I feel for all of us.

Even when I was 13, I knew not to handle firearms or shoot at cops! The police did the right thing.

I don't care hoe old he is....if he takes the actions of an adult he also must assume the risks. "Live by the sword die by the sword" I don't fault the police only the parents of this boy and whoever supplied him with a weapon. They should be found and prosecuted as well. There are more than enough laws on the books that allow for severe penalties for someone who allows a minor access to a weapon, I know with all of the red tape and pages of paperwork I have to fill out to legally own a gun that this should be easy enough to trace it's origin to a legal, or illegal source, also if it had been stolen. I grow tired of having people in the government who want to take away my gun rights because of incidents like this. Enough is enough!

Yeah you keep taking up for the cops as I said before I don't blame them for protecting themselves idiots. He was shot all up in the head and face while sitting on the ground. You keep taking up for the law enforcement and when your daughter or son gets raped or something else by one of them I don't want to hear you fussing about what's the truth and what really happened. A dressed in uniform officer raped a woman in Charlotte this weekend. What do you stupid self centered idiots think about that? You need to read very carefully what is written and stop jumping to conclusions- I said I DON"T BLAME THEM FOR TAKING UP FOR THEMSELVES- I DO THINK THINGS COULD HAVE BEEN HANDLED A LITTLE DIFFERENTLY. Why would you watch somebody for 2 1/2 hours before approaching them and then say it was a man when the service station was well lit and headlights pointed to him sitting on the ground was all I was saying.

Parent, I think I understand where you are coming from. Problem is, the kid had the gun and fired first. I'm not sure that watching him for 2 hours or approaching him right off the bat would have changed the circumstances. As I said before, I have seen many a young man who looked like they were 18, and actually were much younger. As for being shot in the face, you aim towards your subject and attempt to stop the threat....on the range, its real easy to hit a stationary target that's not shooting back at you. In real life when that person is shooting at you and has already shot you in the leg, I imagine its a little different. I haven't heard about this past weekend's rape by someone in a uniform. Was he a police officer? I do know of the so-called officer who has attacked women on vehicle stops. He is lower that whale dung on the ocean floor as far as I am concerned. You can rest assured that any decent cop hates a dirty one...and from some of my cop buddies, this one is hated a lot because he makes the rest look bad. For this 13 year old to feel that he needed to shoot a cop or anyone for that matter...well...something was wrong way before the cops got to him. I won't point any fingers here, but I have to ask where he got the guns...

Wow...I don't blame the cops but they did it wrong..There was a bad apple in uniform in another area and that has what do do with this ?..NOTHING...u just don't like the popo..I am sure the officers would rather shoot and get rid of a bad cop than have the press and people of your sort flapping ther gums.

You obviously seem to have all the answer...Why not pick up the uniform and shield and be a LEO ? I mean obviously you have a better grasp than them...All your saying is just stupid...He Shot and officer and continued firing..He was shot up and died...Do not give a rats ass how old he was .. A gun is deadly no matter how old you are if you can pull the trigger...

Get over your hatred of the men and women in LE...*shakes head * geeeeez people
