Was Romney's secret Swiss offshore account illegal?
We will probably not know until Romney releases his 2009 tax return.
Primarily in 2009 the IRS offered an "amnesty program" to those Americans who were shielding their money from US income tax in foreign accounts, provided the taxpayers REPORTED those illegal accounts. Those taxpayers who took advantage of the IRS "amnesty program" were not subjected to criminal or civil prosecution, although those taxpayers often had to pay income tax, interest, and possibly penalties on those illegal accounts.
Spin, spin, spin, spin and yet you fail, fail, fail!!!

Give it a rest Dawg! You made a claim that was 100% false and now you are trying to weasel spin your way out of it. You're pathetic!

The rumor is Biden won't debate Ryan. Obama knows Biden will get destroyed and given Biden history of not being able to open his mouth without saying something stupid I can see why his handlers won't let him.
But if they do, Ryan is going to tear him to shreds. It will be hilarious to watch.
The only reason that the Biden-Ryan debates would not be scheduled is that Ryan knows that he will be skinned alive by "good old boy" Biden, and Ryan wants to officially "chicken out."

The only thing Ryan will be able to say is, "TRUST ME! I have a lot of really good plans, but first we have to get elected, then we will determine what the public really wants, and then we will have Congress pass it!"

(That is known as the "Herman Cain TRUST ME" strategy.)

You really need to quit doing so many drugs.

We already know you are one of the stupidest people on Topix but now I am starting to think you might just be mildly retarded. There has to be an explination why you say these idiotic comments. Either that or you just enjoy people laughing AT you.

<quoted text>I can't wait to see the debate between biden and ryan. Then afterwards watch the lefty media spin it off as a wonderfull job biden did or go after some other republican so the attention would be on them and not the truth like they always do. I watched a lefty cable news show and had to admit, even they are starting to turn on obama. I couldn't beleive it but they are and one of the reasons isn't obama himself it's the idiots around him like biden. How sad is that, the lefty news thinks this group in office are bad.

USA Today reports that a web tool called Fake Follower Check, which allows people to determine how many real, authentic, acutally-living-people are "following" someone on Twitter, has determined that as many as 70% of President Obama's online adherents are phony. According the report, of Obama's nearly 19 million Twitter fans, more than half are straight up non-existent. It's a problem, however, not relegated to only Obama. The practice of stuffing one's Twitter account with fake friends is in fact common practice says StatusPeople, the company that created Fake Follower Check. According to internet search company PeekYou, on average only 20-30% of politicians' Twitter followers are real.

No he didn't. It has been proven that is not what Biden meant. Our resident "I know what Obama/Biden really meant to say, but I take every that a Republican says to be exactlly what they meant to say" expert Yellow Dawg told us that is not what he meant. Didn't you know that the Obama/Biden stupid comment interpreter lives in the bootheel of Missouri? It does make sense because if there is anyone that knows stupid comments it would be the person who posts them with every post he makes, Yellow Dawg.

<.grin!.> Everybody is a statistician!_8-)
I wasn't aware that President Obama was running in the 1990's.
(Actually, with the estimated electoral vote count from several sources, like Huff Post with Obama 247, Romney 191, there are several ways for Obama to win. Most likely is that Obama takes Wisconsin and Michigan, for a total of 26 electoral votes, equals 273. Similarly, Obama taking Pennsylvania and Nevada also gets 26 electoral vote, for a total of 273. Another high-probability forecast is Obama taking Ohio and Virginia for 31 electoral votes, with a total of 278.)
ACTUALLY Dawg, you must not read what you don't want to see in your "Huff Post"This was in the Huff Post recently
Electoral College Model Predicts Romney Will Win Big in 2012 (And It’s Been Right Since 1980) I said 90's,whoops, must be even more scary DAWG...

University of Colorado Professors Ken Bickers and Michael Berry have quite a set of bragging rights up their sleeve – namely, they’ve devised a mathematical model of the Electoral College that has predicted every Presidential race correctly since Ronald Reagan won the Presidency in 1980. Happy reading DAWG.......

<.yawn!.> Yeah, you already told us about this two days ago, posting as "Muslim Dictator Obama." Multiple posts by you do not make the model correct. This model does not depend upon voter preferences or intentions, but instead looks at information from the economy, and assumes that voters will do likewise. Time will tell about this one.

I will make the comment that the "Electoral College Model" is so "off-the-wall" (outside of) current typical polls that I will remain very skeptical.

For example, if voters perceive Romney as "too rich," Ryan as "too Neo-CON biased," and both of them as "disregarding women's rights" and "out-of-touch," -- then the model will certainly fail, despite economic information.

In other words, regardless of economic conditions, Romney / Ryan could be perceived as so unworthy of being elected that the model will fail (for the first time in 32 years).

Few computer models are "perfect," and thus the "Electoral College Model" is overdue for its being wrong.

I dont exactlly Know what the Presidents Plans are, yet i do believe in him, and i know he will do a better job than any republican canidate.
I know he has had his problems, yet when you have a senate full of republicans against you and denying almost any bill he tries to push through, they have made it harder on him, also the country was already in debt froma a republican president, i dont see any republican president doing a good, in truth most republican are rich and greedy, i will not vote for someone who thinks they are better than others.
As for Obama i do not know what his plans are exactly, yet i know he is trying and i believe he will succeed, what we need is a President that is motivated and cares for the people, whis is Obama, and a house which feels the same and everyone in the house really start to buckle down on our problems, and stop fighting and not aggreeing on anything because they simply arent in the same party as the other, and put or best people in there, these people are not only running our country but representing our country, i want a great America for my kids to grow up in from past experience i can say under every republican rule the country i love has took losses, while under democratic rule it has seen problems yet advances, such as President Clintons term.
My family heritage is from france i really have been thinking of leaving america simply because of all the disaggreement in out leaders, and the economy being so destroyed, i believe we can come back from where we are yet i highly doubt in all the republican canidates, they dont care for us poor folks, and they will destroy this country.
Yet to answer your question better i willresearch allot more on what Obamas plans are for you exact questions i will email the white hause and see if i get a response to such questions and post the remarks made on here
I would respectfully like to make a suggestion to you that you actually do that research on Obama. His plans are to destroy America as we know it. Do you not understand what that means? We are losing our freedoms a little at a time and then one day we will wake up and have none. I am voting Republican and I can't say I am a Republican or a Democrat, but I think that is our only salvation. Obama doesn't understand on what our country was founded..........or if he does, he wants to change it. People are so concerned about their health care. OBAMACARE is not the way to go. It will be a disaster for everyone. How can people be so ignorant to this fact? It just makes me grit my teeth!
The economy has got to turn around and Obama doesn't have a clue how to do it. Romney does and Ryan will help him. I truly believe this.

I am sick of people talking about Romney being rich. I guess he knew how to make money or he wouldn't be rich. I figure if he can make money he knows how to get our economy going again. Duh!

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Aquarius

There simply aren't enough hours in the day today for you to do everything that's on your list, so concentrate on the priorities. Don't feel guilty about what's been left out and start to worry about it. This isn't an easy day because you're feeling pressured and anxious, so don't expect too much from yourself. There's less energy than usual, which doesn't help.
