Politicians may or may not know better than God (We have some pretty wacky Gods other there), but with the government in almost every aspect of our lives I don’t think it’s their business to pass legislation to make sure their citizens are going to heaven in an afterlife by voting no on some controversial issue. I can make my own choices thank you.

Commenting on the letter from Roy H. Tsumoto.
"Majority rules" is a fact of life. No organization, either public or private could function without that rule. Dictatorships are the only ones that don't rely in this rule.
Congress, the Legislature, the Supreme Court, Kamehameha Schools to name but a few all rely on this system.
The ultimate "majority rules" is the voting public.

Who did the Hawaiians steal the land from? Ya boy, they DID steal it from somebody. Being that is definitely true, what makes the Hawaiians "more equal" to those they purport to have "stolen" the land from them?'Nuff said...

Oh no! Not another "restore the kingdom" ___p letter from Leon Siu.

The United States holds the perfect title.

Any idiot, including Siu,(and the clowns running OHA) can take a look at Section 5(f), AND READ THE GOD-DAMNED THING, and see for themselves that the State of Hawaii received the ceded lands "in trust."

The State can only do five (5) things with the land, a violation of which MAY result in a breach of trust action by the USA.

So, while the State holds legal title, the United States holds perfect title, and the beneficiaries (yes, you---the general public, and the "classic native Hawaiians" as defined in the HHCA, 1920) hold equitable title.

But, NO, Mr. Siu, the State does not hold perfect title, no matter what anybody told you, no matter what AG Bennett says, or what your strident company tells you.

Remember this, Mr. Siu, if your kingdom had delivered the 1/3rd share to the commoner native tenants in the Mahele of 1848, and your kingdom had not designed the Mahele of 1848 to impoverish the commoner native tenants,(and keep us in a perpetual state of indebtedness---throwing us morsels of benefits from their alii trusts---you MAY have a sympathetic ear.

Otherwise, get over it.

"» taking away our children's opportunity to watch and learn from professional athletes who promote education and drug-free lifestyles;"

HAHA!
Education & Drug free lifestyles?

That is HILARIOUS!

Guess you have missed a few headlines in regards to your Hero’s…

They throw a ball around, chase each other and fall down. They are not demigods, just mere mortals paid ridiculous amounts of money to play a child's game. You sports fans kill me.
