Great job! Terrorists would have love to make a terrostic statement from Kauai.

Lihue Airport is the first in the state to use a controversial body scanner to check passengers going through security. The new technology has raised concerns with some civil liberties groups because it's a virtual strip search....

Passengers boarding flights at Lihue Airport now must go through a new X-ray scanning machine, raising their arms over their heads as the scanner checks for hidden weapons, explosives or other threats. While the technology sees through their clothes, the TSA claimed it provides an X-ray like image that doesn't expose people's private parts clearly

I do not want ANYONE X-raying my genitals! First, X-rays will damage the DNA in my ovarian follicles, and my future children may be adversely affected. Second, the thought of my genitals being imaged even if unclearly for the potential amusement and entertainment of the scanner makes me feel violated as a human being.

Ditto here, Alice! Except in my case, I don't want to damage the DNA in my huevos rancheros, and the thought of TSA workers making fun of my endowment really bothers me.

So you don't want to be violated. HHmmm so I guess you would rather die after the terrorist gets through security with that bomb and it explodes while in the air? Then your Xrayed damaged OVARIES will not matter then will it? Forget the X-ray I think the children you will have in the future will be damaged from the genes that you pass on to them anyway.

So, what's wrong with protecting one's genitals? I guess you want me to sacrifice my future children on the altar of public opinion. No freaking way, dude.

My statement was a sarcastic remark on how stupid TsA is....How many muslims travel through Kauai and since when Kauai has become a prolific political arena. It not only violates our civil liberties this should by instituted in the high risk airports where Muslims frequent. And if you call this statement racial profiling, who else is the
are the ones trying to cause this havoc.
This includes Muslim wannabes who convert because they feel muslims are misunderstood.

Thank you I don't mean to single out Muslims but the few misguided Muslims that try to do harm makes racial profiling inevitable. Muslims like any other religions have radicals who usually use their religion in blasphemy.

Yes those terrorist have most certainly changed our ways of traveling. These new xray machines is another weapon in fighting terrorism. Who cares if they see your genitals, if it means that your flight will be that much more secure than so be it. I would rather go through a little aprehension than be 20,000 feet in the air and someone unseen through security was able to bring and explode a bomb. Anyone that objects then should be strip searched, and bent over to get a through inspection. NOW tell me which one do you WANT?

Listen Ahab these small INTERNATIONAL airports are exactly the targets that surely these terrorist would succeed in the next terrorist attack. There are direct flights to the mainland that leave Kauai,Maui, and Hilo All it takes is 1 terrorist to achieve their goals of killing innocent travelers and small airports are no different than big ones for their purpose. TSA is only a instrument in protecting airline travelers and the decisions to implement these x-ray units are made by Homeland security. There must be something that this organization knows that we don't. Think about that.

Don't worry about it, you'll get more radiation exposure from the CAT scanners at the hospital.

By the way you don't need night reading lights anymore..........

Seriously centuries of history reveal that real incursion/invasions occur in the remote border areas!

It is just a matter of time before passengers will be required to check in five-hours before flight time to undergo coloirectal cleansing. Body cavity searches will become a routine pre-flight ritual.

True but since 911 how many made the efforts to fly to hawaii. None yet. Tsa is doing an anal job researching the travel habits of Muslims and routes taken. Come on even the Muslim radicals are not stupid enough to waste their time in hawaii traveling thru when all the fuel will be gone from the flight.
Maybe Tsa thinks the staff in Kauai are incompentent so they need this screener 1st.
But that don't make sense too because if they are incompetent how can they trust them to monitor the screener effectively.

Dude, you want to protect the "huevos" cause if the X-ray gets to them, they will fry - and then you can add the green chiles, queso, and pico de gallo!
