We all know 333 Main, so 348 Main was across the street near the church? Was that the Community Club building?I remember back in the sixties, when I was Cub Scouts, we used to have large troop meetings in a hall in downtown Latrobe. There was a wooden stage, three or four feet high and the room was large, maybe 30' x 40' or so. It was in a building on the west (left) side of the 300 block on Main Street. Looking at what's left on Main Street, I'm pretty sure it must have been in the St. Clair building at 348 Main.
Does anyone else remember that? What's in the St. Clair building these days?
That building had a gym-type large room on the first floor.
My second Girl Scout troop met at the building to the west of Troutmans (Weldon street side), and wasn't that the LOOM Loyal Order of Moose.
There was a large hall upstairs with hardwood floors where we met. My other troop met at the church on Weldon.
