I had a lumpectomy in June at Latrobe hospital.I had a sentinal needle biopsy done. I received a call today telling me I may have had sulphan blue in the needle that was recalled in October. It was also used for eye and heart surgery. They will be sending me a registered letter. Anyone else get a call from Latrobe or westmoreland hospital?

I wouldn't worry. As long as you are feeling ok, the likelihood of contracting meningitis at this point is zilch!

I had eye surgery in May and got the call too. Since there was a recent recall they are obligated to inform, is all.

Look for more of this kind of thing when Obama Care hits. Is there any program that big government has actually improved? Seems to me that each time it gets involved means more red tape and inferior service. Kiss HIPPA good bye.(It is kind of a joke NOW) That will just be lip service...more smoke and mirrors to hoodwink naive and gullible citizens.

Inferior service would be a step up over what we have now though

OOPS! Lest you misinterpret my reply. Inferior work should never be accepted. Do you accept inferior work from your mechanic, plumber, electrician etc? Why would you accept inferior health care that has not yet been thought out and/or explained??? It is time for Americans to stop "making things OK". That only empowers mediocrity in all areas of work. For the sake of society, let's hope that attitude is not being passed down to the youth of America. Seems that an old adage said something like "do it well or not at all". It is sad that we are living in a time when citizens accept inferiority, poor work, inferior service ...whatever you want to call it, as the norm. Most of our lawmakers make a signifcantly higher salary than most American citizens. Isn't it reasonable for us to ask them to demand the the best for us?

You better stop taking bad about our President. He is the savior, and will continue to keep sending us pro folk money and more unemployment benefits.
We like the Savior as we do not have to work so we can have free cell phones and free rides to the methadone clinics. Share the wealth. Make the RICH pay their fair share so I can sit home and watch the Price is Right .

Did I mention the President??? I was talking about
inferior work, service, medical care...you name it. What makes you infer that I was talking about him? I wouldn't bother.
