Alot of employees are either getting fired or quitting...Wonder what is going on?

Could it be because a lot of folks like to winnnnnnnne. My folks always told me to be proud of what I do. If this job is not for you GET OUT, Others need the work. As far as missing work, that is why they call it work.

I say that everyone working there needs more respect and one hell of a pay raise. Read the paper that Kevin Stalkner stepped down, maybe he was fired from screwing things up at Sharpe before he left?

I used to be a waitress, and I would watch the other girls get lousy tips, and always grumble about how that person was a bad tipper...never once would they say "Hey, what could I have done better, to get a better tip?"

Uhm...yeah...anyways... You just need to be a great person, and don't fall into their mind games... you, as a leader, are above it. I feel if you breathe oxygen, you are a leader. Just hone in on skills to make you an asset to you peers, where ever they may be.

Welp if you need a job there are about 45 open positions right now the people dont whine they are disrespected by management all the time its a shame that the its constant picking and instead of taking charge on large problems they are worried about simple things depending upon who you are you are harrassed about something simple but big issues are left untouched its the sad truth but if you all think you can come up to sharpe and get paid 9 dollars an hour to get spit hit kicked and shit on and be happy and humiliated by the other staff members bring it on up there see how long you can keep your ignorant ass a smilign without complaining the management seems to forget that there are alot of people working that have children you cant help it when you have to stay home and take care of a sick child granted there are people that abuse it but thsoe are teh people that get away with it there isnt the same rules for all the people there they need to start with having the same rules for everyone that would make an improvement and second showing a little appreciation for the people that are on the units the ones that are in physical danger sometimes 16hrs straight appreciation and kindness goes a long way its not always about the money

Mary dye worked there and she complained about Julianna I thinks her name all the time and the people on her shift but she was getting donated time from being sick and at the same time she was getting over a thousand dollars disability check. I think it was nice of those people donating her leave and yet she was getting help from many resources. And talking about the staff maybe a lot of the problem was some of the staffs background I know Mary was working there and been in a mental institution herself a dozen times. That's a crazy watching a crazy.

I work at sharpe and I do a good job. I like the staff I work with and the Patients. I know alot of people are out of work so why do some complain so much of the time. Did you miss the staff appreciation dinner? All the jobs before this one noone ever said thanks and I sure never had a boss serve me dinner

I worked there for a long time the bosses all need replaced and or terminated they have been there to long any nurse manger that would say this is my unit needs to go home the hospital is there for people that need help not for anyone on power trip or thinking there decisions or polices would make them look good in charleston iam just surprised every day that no staff or clients have been killed yet all of adminastration is out of touch with the real world all they care about is looking good and being in control...............

Heard there was a female worked there that had a relationship with a client there. Worker was caught in this by other workers. Heard family of client was upset & pushing something to be done with a client advocate. Question, is why wasn't the worker arrested? Instead they still work in the medical field. This should not be allowed!!!!!

Maybe things were screwed up before Kev! He had more than one chance to fix things!It all comes down to hiring more people...at least ones that are not scared to step in and say I am here to help you..as far as recreation..they need to get off there asses and do something instead of whining who has more to do....People in rec take note as to who does what so no one can sit on there ass more or less than the other..

Health service people need to get paid like gaurds at the jails..Enough is enough of people getting hurt by patients!!!

There are plenty of us in REHAB who have education many of us have formal college degrees others have on the job trainings that we have attended to properly teach what we are to be teaching .....its not just fun and games as most believe it is but tjsts because they have never tried it as for any other comments u have about the department how about you have the guts to stand up in front of us and say them out loud. Hiding behind a computer is pretty childish and we are adults who can speak face to face

If I were you I would not go around talking about education which from the way your statement reads you obviously have not had. I personally think that rehab along with all the other departments have a lot of fine people working in them. Its people like you that bitch, complain and cause havoc because your life sucks and you have nothing better to do makes work miserable there. Oh and do you really want to talk MORALS?

Just saying I worked there yrs b4 it got as screwed up as it sounds now! entirely 2 much rage, mismanagement of funds & authority! who runs around 4 a week in the dark. that`s not a hospital that`s a freak show. And by the way I am so very happy with my life & I spend time with family & friends w/o the drama of being bullyed by people I wouldn`t let take care of my dog!

Wow!!!! Bullying must happen frequently then because the REHAB department is bullied frequently and if you truly work there you know those women do not deserve the comments that get made about them nor the snide looks they recieve because they do nothing wrong they only thing they do is come in day in and day out and give 100% for the individuals that attend their groups. So yet again since you seem to drop the invitation for a meeting then you can drop the comments of the department. There is no one one here bad mouthing who ever you are, your education, your qualifications, your attitude, etc...

I for one know that the staff in authority over the staff that deals with the patient and the Dhhr and it polices are the problem,unless you know someone in power ok know something on someone,you'd better no stepp out of line or you will be fired and they are down over 100 positions and overcrowded with patients

Rehab girls are great, dont be bashing them. All kinds of people dont do anything at Sharpe Hospital. One imparticular walks all day long. Frustrating that nursing staff doesn't even get a lunch or 15 minute break half the time, but everytime you see her, she is walking. To "justify" her department being left unattended, she walks with a paper in her hand. How many laps around the bottom floor do you have to take before you can drop off that report?
