is it me or does texas county just seem to keep criminials with a long rap sheet get all the rights and the victim's well they get nothing. I don't want to hear the crap about they follow the laws or bs like that because I know diffrent. Plus it takes for ever for them to arrive at the scene when you call for help. Maybe there all at andersons house hanging with criminals.Who knows but one thing I do nknow is the old saying do the crime do the time does not exist it is more like do the crime don't do time be the victim and live in fear!

I completely understand what your saying and how you must be feeling, but please hear me out. I can not find one single reason to call the police (outside a child abduction, maybe) This country of ours ran just as smooth as silk long before "law and order" came along. Our society has become complaisant and reliant on a group of people to "protect" us, in doing so we have forgotten that those people are just people. They are human and there for inherently flawed with the perceived power society has given them there will always be abuse. There is not one "clean" cop on the planet, don't allow yourself to be fooled in to thinking they are in any way held to a standard. Law enforcement is the most corrupt business in the world. It is also the most dangerous to the citizens it surrounds, Do you realize that they are the only form of government that can come in to your home and take you against your will because they have "Cause" to believe you have done something "wrong". No other governing body can do that. The United States incarcerates more people than any other country in the world it is estimated that over 37% of those incarcerated are innocent (case study by University of Texas in conjunction with Harvard Law) 37% is allot of people when you consider there are over a million people in prison. The largest revenue for any city in the country is earned by the issuance of traffic citations. There has never been a rich man executed in this country. The average age of incarceration is 25. The average prison sentence is 12 years. I know , I know I am off the subject, my point is you don't need law enforcement, just refuse to be a victim. It is a mind set. If someone is victimizing you, defend yourself with what ever means and never never never under any circumstances tell anyone what you are planning to do, have done or cooperate with the police. Don't answer questions don't except gifts of trust i.e. drinks, cigarettes, food or anything else. Request a lawyer, never submit your vehicle or other property to a search. If the police say they can search tell them NO.(this does not apply if your under arrest) but even if you are still object to the search. Fight the urge to explain yourself. Again I am off subject, but you have the right in this country to live in peace and there is no law that says you must rely on a group of so called "protecters of the piece" to insure that you are safe. Learn self defense hand to hand combat, edged and improvised weapons (also called weapons of opportunity i.e. keys, credit cards, what ever you can get your hands on.) Learn to use a fire arm. You are capable no matter your age or sex to protect yourself and your family. The alternative is to hire a body guard or buy a protection dog....... As far as do the crime do the time, get rid of useless laws and there would be a lot less crime. This in it's self would allow for more free time for the police to pursue actual crimes..........

What is the time period you are referring to? I don't remember ever studying about this alledged Utopian country you reference. I agree with the point that we are responsible for our safety, liberty, and freedom but a lot of this reeks of paranoia.

I was married to an FBI agent, I KNOW how the system works....Texas County Sheriff's office REALLY need to be investigated.

Now...NOT all of them are corrupt....

I'm only talking about the clique surrounding Anderson....they need to be thoroughly investigated by an OUTSIDE FBI probe.
I think,in fact I KNOW, among their other problems, one is the problem of disappearing evidence.Whether it's deliberate or just plain incompetence.....it's still a gross injustice of OUR rights....and abuse of tax payers money.

However...like I stated not ALL of them are corrupt, but I truly believe Anderson's " inner circle " of county cops are.

I never had any problem with State or local City police though...so I'm happy about that at least. They have always been there for me and have done their job well.

The problem STARTS with corrupt politicians surrounding ( protecting ) themselves with an inner circle of their "PETS".

here is a scenario: say that a person has a restraining order against them and they violate it and Texas County is called and when they get there they ask if you want to press charges and you say yes. Then they run the perpetrators license well nothing comes up but you have the actual court papers in your hand that you paid a attorney 700.00 to get for you and it is ordered by the judge in Texas county well over a month ago and you receive your papers of restraining order so when the crime happens and you hand them these papers they let the person go and say well nothing came up how do I know you did not forge these papers says the police officer. O.K. HERE IS A THOUGHT DUMB A--! LIKE I HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO THEN MAKE UP COURT PAPERS SIGNED BY A JUDGE THAT TEXAS COUNTY SERVED. And guess what the person in violation says go ahead and call Texas County they will not do anything. Guess what Mr. officer I bet if this person walked in your home and woke you up saying give me money or better yet your lucky enough he doesn't slit your throat while you were asleep. YOU WOULD ACT A WHOLE LOT DIFFRENT!! It seem's to me that it is funny how when you call your sherriffs department and the circuit clerks office that you then get told they were never served but wait it gets better folks! You call your attorney and they say yes they did get served and were served by yup you guessed it TEXAS COUNTY!!! So riddle me this people how oh how did this person that had the restraining order against them walk away scott free only to be able to show up again either drunk or high and do the same thing? But that's right they didn't hurt you as we were told by said protector of the county! That's a joke!! Maybe not this time but who knows next time you will be called to a murder and then what do you tell there loved ones?
I guess what I am getting at is this it does not matter if you have been in and out of jail or you have a rap sheet a mile long. As said by who would have thought DO THE CRIME DON'T DO THE TIME! BE A VICTIM AND YOU WILL LIVE IN FEAR!!!!

Well, in my case they lost BOTH sets of evidence.....one set was lost was Digital pictures, the County took, that they deleted along with ALL of the evidence, TO ALL OF THE CASES CURRENT, on their hard drive
during an " upgrade".
( this hard drive OOPS was around the time the Monica /Anderson love-fest thing broke in the news by the way)

The other set of Polaroid pictures ,taken by Licking Police, was lost AFTER they reached the County sheriff's office.

One case....BOTH sets of pictures vanished.
That's our diligent County officials hard at work protecting the public for you.!!!!!!

To my understanding the sheriff's office & prosecutors office are two separate offices. Are their cmoputers linked? That doesn't seem likely. Did your case get dropped because of lack of evidence? You just want to bitch and make your piddly case into the trial of the century. I would be more concerned about your x and his fbi connections than Texas County sheriff's department.

well as for restraing orders they are kinda just a joke and if you paid a lawyer that much money for one you got screwed over b/c they are free you just have to go fill one out...but from experience i've even had all the cops in the surrounding area tell me that they cant really do anything until he would actually hurt me...even had the chief of police tell me that after they picked him up he flat out told the chief that he was gonna kill me as soon as he got out of the 24 hour hold, and the chief came to my house and told me that hew was worried about me and for me and my kids and that i should leave town if i could for a while...needless to say 2 years later i am still alive but i have had to watch my back every single day all day long...and now mike anderson finally nailed his ass for me and sent him up for 14 years in prison....it took a lot...so good luck..just dont ever drop charges after you file them it only drags the process out longer...dont let yourself be manipulated...it wont ever work...

Thanks for the advise dbut I didn't get screwed cause mine was a little more complicated than just a restraining order so I didn't get screwed and so far as the police saying what they said to you at least yours was carted off to a 24 hour hold giving you the choice to either stay or leave. As far as Anderson he's a bigger joke than Texas county! I f he would keep his hands in his pockets and his mouth closed maybe he wouldn't be in trouble. I am so glad you are safe and can rest now. Thank the good lord above but no one should have to go threw anyone threating them and why should the victim have to wait until they hurt them to do anything that paper says anywhere near them not if they hurt you. One should not be chased out of there home in order to feel safe. I will say it again. Criminals have rights victims do not.

No I won my case.....ONLY because one of the Licking officers remembered taking the polaroid pictures that County lost.....and my X pled guilty to three counts of domestic violence.

The Sheriffs office and PA's office HAVE to work hand in hand when it comes to reports and evidence....evidence can hepl a victim of a crime....on the other hand...evidence can free somebody charged with a crime they didn't commit too.
AND...when ANY law enforcement agency do a computer upgrade, it is standard procedure to back up the hard drive,( and common sense ) so any evidence on that hard drive is not lost in case of an OOPS!

Gee....what are YOU so worried about ?

When you are married to somebody ( for 32 years),who was FBI ,you get to meet alot of different people in Law Enforcement from various agencies.....

..and I still do classified work ( military defense contracts ) for the government. I used to manage a company in Chicago that handled only classified defense contracts for Military systems. I'm a independent contractor now, still doing same work.
Yes...I do know many people...but it doesn't really meen anything, just people I've met in the course of some 30 plus years.

Instead of bickering on here this subject I feel is very serious it isn't about lost evidence all though that at least is on the subject of Texas county police it's about a very serious matter that is taken way to lightly I feel. There are so many people out there that are going by the laws and yet somehow once again they get to stay the victim, be chased out of where they live and have to start all over only to be chased again and told the same thing just another time. Why doesn't anyone take this as serious as other crimes they always say well if they didn't hurt you this time theres really nothing we can do but yet once again I bring up that piece of legal paper signed by a judge that the police seem to ignore.
