T.E. Black, "God's Way"

A few years back, 1979, I got a pamphlet from Mr. Black, of P.O.Box 785 Andlusia, Ala. printed by the Opp News. I know he was born in 1894, so I'm not sure if he is still with us. Does anyone know if his work is continued, or if there is something similar available. I would like to get an updated plantng chart. Any help would be surely appreciated. Thank you. Sam [e-mail]

I too would like an update but I have taken his book with his knowledge and moon and zodiac signs, have made my own.

I have been a subscriber to "God's Way" by T.E. Black for more than 30 years. Each year I send my check and request for the planting chart (I still have the book so don't need another one) I send it to the Andlusia,
Ala. address and always receive a current planting guide. I usually enclose a couple of dollars. Hope this helps.

It's a great book and basic, down-to-earth, common sense guide to planting and other matters. "They" knew some things and was in touch with nature and use of wisdom that we just don't have today! The book is still available at P.O. Box 785, Andulsia, Ala. Happy hunting and planting!!

"God's Way" is a wonderfully helpful book that I purchased from Mr. Black in 1972. I'm glad to know you can get the annual calendar at the same address. I shall order my copy for 2009.
The Farmer's Almanac also publishes information for planting by the signs,
and calendars are now available online in digital and hard copy that offer the same information, but they don't have the folksy quality of "God's Way."
