I'm sorry to sound so cynical, but the fact that the husband claims to have blacked out just before the car went into the pond...yet he is the only survivor...smells very fishy to me. I hope I'm wrong.

I thought the same thing. They said the kids drown which makes sense (even if the wife was killed another way). They havent released the preliminary autopsy results for the wife yet. Hopefully we're wrong and it was a tragic accident but...stranger things have happened.

I cant understand why she didn't try to get out. I wasn't there so not gonna say he was at fault and I don't know all the circumstances either.

I think one thing is we are all thinking of the mother who drowned her children that time in the pond. Made it like they were carjacked.

I hope this isnt the case, no matter there is family hurting right now and my thoughts and prayers are with them.

I was thinking the same thing...I hope its not true, but it is a very weird set of circumstances. How did he make it out and she didn't?

The cops had divers in the pond yesterday. I think they are somewhat suspicious, too. Hope we are wrong.

Good question....

One would think that someone with low blood sugar who passes out would have the strength to save themselves in that situation....

Hard to say ....just wait and pray

What makes me suspicious of the entire situation, the pastor speaks for the husband.

So how does a driver cross over 25' of ground
to land in the pond?

I have had vertigo while driving, but I do think I could stop the vehicle before driving into a ditch or pond.

And when this pastor state that Biggers was shaking, all upset, shook up - well so would I be
if I drove my family into a pond in the cold
that was 25' away from the road.

Let's hope N.C. Highway Patrol Sgt. Pat Staggs keeps investigating this strange accident.

I think he did it on purpose. If they all drowned then I wonder how did he get out and they didnt. They didn't hit anything on the way in. Very suspicous. I hope I'm wrong too.

Would you not go for help if it was you. Have you not ever had a health problem! DONT JUDGE UNTIL YOU KNOW THE FACTS. This is a very christian family. Dont add to their grief!

In Grief people do not want to talk. Been there. This is not the only case of a black out in the United States. God wanted this wife and children for a reason. That is the way it was to be.
