No it isn't my place to judge. However, if you don't know that it is wrong for an adult, who is a teacher and in a place of authority to have sex with a teenager then there is a problem somewhere. I just know that had it been a male teacher having a fling with a female student it would have been treated differently.

You are wrong.
This is not about a woman being a wh---.
Its not about a little BOY.
It is about whats good and bad for all the children in Liberty.

You obviously didn't pay attention much in your grammar class. Thank you for perpetuating the belief that cheerleaders are dumb. "You're" and "your" are 2 different words and your misuse and poor grammar amuse me. Please, continue in your horrid typing skills.

If you are an adult, and a teacher, you are judged by a higher standard than anyone else at a school. Keep your hands to yourself. Cheerleader, stop living in your imaginary dreamland. It is a public matter when MY tax dollars pay for a womans living who can't keep her hands off a student's privates.

People tend to thrive on the misfortunes of others. The only thing that seems to sell is bad news. I don't believe any of you truly know what you are talking about. Yes each of you have recieved bits and pieces of information, but how many truly have the facts. Facts relating to a mother of a girl that helped to create some of the untruths. The motive to hurt people that she felt had wronged her daughter. The truth of that is the daughter had no desire to commit herself to the training and practices that is required to be a champion. The fact remains that a person that was put in a trusted position betrayed that trust. How or at what age do we consider a person to be of a mature enough age to make decision for themselves? Is this young man mature enough to make his own decisions? Do we hold the teacher accountable for his decisions? If you have ever been involved in a relationship you know it takes two people to consent for anything to occur. The teacher has been removed and I trust that if any TRUE wrong doings have occurred that they will be dealt with. As it has been stated in anothr comment "Let those that are without sin cast the stones". You say I would never do what she did, but at most any given time in our society we could all be charged with some issue in which we have no guilt.

So are you saying it is not true, or are you saying that you don't think it is wrong?

Kristy Brooks is not only an incredibly honest, dedicated, teacher and amazing cheerleading coach - She is a sister, a daughter, an aunt, a wife... a human being - from a strong, loving dedicated family.
False accusations from jealous, evil people like yourself are cruel and life altering.
In this country, poeple are innocent until PROVEN guilty. Proof of her innocence will put you in your place and your maker will hold you accountable. You(& others like you) should be ashamed of yourselves.

Of course I care about the cheerleaders whose trust has been taken away by their coach whom they all trusted and loved. I am happy that they had someone who stepped in and kept them on the right track.

I think I know her... Did she go to Liberty when she was in High School... I don't pass judgement on anyone, that is for the legal system and the man upstairs... Only she and god knows the truth...

I was disgusted with this issue but my goodness Jamie is this all you have to do is stay in topix. Jamie, you need to find something constructive to do with your time. I am not a supporter for her either. I have children and grandchildren and would never want anything like this to happen to them or my worse enemy. She is being dealt with what makes you think you are going to make a difference?

I believe as well in being innocent until proven guilty. With that being said since the state has SUSPENDED her license that means they have found enough facts in their investigation to find her as an UNFIT teacher. What else is there to discuss. She messed up, she's the adult and the one who took an oath to have our children's best interest at hand at all times and she has failed the community as well as her cheerleading team. Bottom line, she got lucky that he had recently turned 17 and no legal ramifications took place. Those are the facts.

Looks like this woman is no longer allowed to teach in South Carolina and that voluntarily surrender/revocation will be published with the national registry.
