Building the Liberty Lake Skatepark

Ok here is the deal, the city Liberty Lake is building a skatepark and we want YOU to help in building it, and guess what - this skatepark will have no fee (from what our boards say [truely we're not sure if the city will charge or not but there is a very great chance that they won't])
Here is how you can help; participate in local "going-ons" or "happenings" because we will have a facility, or stand, in most local projects like the battle of the bands.
In building this skatepark we will help free our local environment of most of the vandalism and make it so that people aren't bored out of their minds most of the time. If (more than not "when") we build a skatepark it will be accessable by skateboarders, rollerbladers, and BMX'ers!
Recently we have talked about how kids or teens may be angry and pose a threat, we have covered this and our skatepark will be monitered. Trust me, we need all the help we can get because (approximatly) we'll need around two to three million dollars!

Having a spot for those of us that are not into team sports is the key. Individualized sports are becoming more noticeable. Look at the X-Games, there are no team members to miss the pass or drop the ball. One quarter acre park out of all the combined acres of Liberty lake parks and Rec is not too much to ask for! It takes water and maintenance for all that grass! A one time fee monitoring system or even the occasional cleanup of the skate/bike park does not even compare to the average yearly cost of an irrigated area the same size. Do the math! Its hard for a city council to choke down 200k(+_) thats easy to understand. But what I don't understand is when you go to Hillyards skate/bike park there are more kids per square foot inside the skate park than the entire 3+ Acre park. Just to give you an Idea the size of Hill yard it is about a 1/4 of a football field. Give the individualized sport athletes a place to grow in their sport. There are baseball fields, tennis courts and play grounds. Were are skaters, bikers and bladders supposed to ride and do tricks! There is no such spot. Maybe a ledge in the back of Albertsons, oh cant do that. Thats private property! Its make sense right! I challenge anyone who reads this to take a poll at your liberty lake school and ask how many kids wouldn't want this park. I guarantee it is less than 10 percent. Liberty lake invest in ALL of you athletes not just team sports. If there are any community leaders or coordinators that need help in this endeavor let me know [e-mail]. Your new Walgreens pharmacy was robbed at gunpoint. First the homeless gather there at 0300 in the morning, then the hooligans and loiterers, now insane druggies are getting off the highway to visit walgreens and liberty lake. Congratulations city council for approving the useless 99cent store upgrade known as walgreens. Maybe next you guys can approve a methadone clinic next to it. As for me-I will begin carrying my concealed weapon again.--by the way-liberty lake isnt that big-was it just to hard to get a rapid police response to catch the psyco?--or was there just wayyyy too much traffic from uncontrolled growth.

really hope this goes through, i am a trials/dj biker not a bmxer but they can use plastic pegs that dont tear up parks if that is an issue. please make this for all wheeled sports! bikers get left out a lot. foam pits are also a good feature in a decent skate park which would be sick to have!
