I got this in an e-mail this morning and felt it was worth posting. It really makes one think!

The Book of Revelations!

This will make you re-think :
How long is the beast allowed to have authority in Revelations?

Guess the Answer?

Revelations Chapter 13 tells us it is 42 months,
and you know what that is?

Almost a four-year term to a Presidency.

All I can say is Lord Have Mercy on us.!!!!!! According to The Book of Revelations The anti-Christ will be a man, in his 40's, of MUSLIM descent, who will deceive the nations with persuasive language, and have a MASSIVE Christ-like appeal....the prophecy says that people will
flock to him and he will promise false hope and world peace, and when he is in power, will
destroy everything ..

Is it OBAMA?? I STRONGLY URGE each one of you
to repost this as many times as you can! Each opportunity that you have to send it to a friend or media outlet...do it!

I refuse to take a chance on this unknown
candidate who came out of nowhere.

How does Obama have a MASSIVE Christ-Like appeal? I've heard nothing but people talking about how he is either a muslim who is planning to kill everyone, or that his church is horrendously racist, and hates all white people....all people have done is talk about what an evil person he is...so how is that "Christ-like" at all? And it says 42 months, not 48....ALMOST a four-year term, isn't a four year term is it?

If you want to vote for McCain, fine...do it, he's not a horrible candidate....but for Christsake let people decide for who they want to vote for on their own instead of just spreading retarded lies about people....it's funny how everyone gets all super-religious around election time, and they want a good, white, God-fearing person in office...or that's what they all said about Bush when they re-elected him....nice going America.

Evil Ed, I am NOT super-religious around election time or fot that part, any other time...YES, I am a God Fearing human and I have my religious belief but, if you read the VERY FIRST statement, I said I got that in an e-mail and "I" thought it was worth posting!

As far as voting for McCain....I probably won't be doing that either! I supported Clinton and was very disappointed at her loss.

People have the RIGHT to vote as they please, but, I don't feel you have to right to call anyone retarded, and you may not have done so in those exact words but, you did say ...spreading retarded lies! All I have to say is....If you do not believe it...PROVE it wrong!

The Anti-Christ comes out of the European Union, the revised Roman Empire. It does NOT say the is a Muslem. So you are incorrect.

I think Hiliary would more likely be the Anti-Christ! And I hope Obama has more sense than to pick her as his VP. Her and Bill would knock him off just to get back control of the White House.

The Muslim religion was not founded until 600 A.D.
That's 600 years after Christ and 400 years after the Book of Revelation was put into its final form.

The Book of Revelation does not mention the word "Muslim" or "Islam" anywhere. The religion hadn't yet even been founded. Nor does it say anything about a 40-year old man being the anti-Christ.

It is far more likely that the person(s) misrepresenting and distorting the words of the Bible by passing around this work of fiction are doing the work of the anti-Christ.

This is the saddest, dumbest thing I have read in some time. What foolishness. This from the same Bible used to justify slavery...now you attempt to vilify a man with whose politics (and maybe race) you disagree. Shame on you Bible reading people for trying to tie the Antichrist to Sen Obama. Are you that fearful of anyone who is different from yourselves? No wonder this country is becoming as backward as any on earth.

Hi there, I came across your site and I was just wondering where you got your information. Have you read the book of revelations, and if so, are you quoting directly from the book? Or are you forwarding an e-mail on before checking the validity of the statements. I only ask that you check the facts for yourself and then decide based on reason more than an e-mail.
Your e-mail came from this website, http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/antichri...
What is very interesting is that whoever sent you the e-mail only sent the part that would shock you most. I would urge you to read the entire article, it is very interesting and gives you a well rounded viewpoint for you to form your own opinion on. One interesting fact that it points out is that Islam as a religion did not emerge util 400 years after the book of Revelation was written, so the notion of it including the word "Muslim" is impossible. Read it...

Is there no shame among the so-called Christians? I am leaving my conservative, evangelical church after 48 years of service and dedication. I love my church family, but I will no longer sit still for the thinly veiled hatred that comes from the pulpit Sunday after Sunday.

I will sever ties with those who send hateful e-mails. Repeatedly, I respond to these people, sending them researched material that dissavows the lies, asking in a friendly way that they not send this stuff to me. If people choose to remain ignorant and hateful, I'm not able to change that.

I will no longer watch the commentary that passes for "news" on FOX, or watch CBS, where my local affiliate broadcasts Pat Robertson's supposed program of faith, but instead promotes intolerance and hosts people with a political agenda.

It's time for people who call themselves Christians to line up behind Christ's teachings, and help the poor, care for the sick, sacrifice to make things better for someone else, and live by example.

And I'm not the only one who feels this way, who is cutting ties with the "born again" judgmental agenda.

If you claim that Oboma is Muslim, then how is it that he was also tied to the Rev. Wright(claimed to have sat and listened to his sermons for 30 years)?
How can a person be both Muslim and Christian at the same time?

Any one who would remotely believe this story is Retarded as Evil Ed stated. And he does have the right to call someone else retarded, being retarded himself. But on this particular topic he is correct. This entire post is "retarded".

I never really liked clinton and her odd promises...#1 abortion was going to made legal? tell me that's not Christlike...who wants to murder an unborn child?#2 Gay marriage was going to be allowed in all 50 states? I'm sorry but I don't hate gays but I'm just not for their acts that they do...those 2 things I just mentioned are not Christlike along with whatever she had planned in her twisted mind if she ever made it into office.

cguy, I hate to break it to ya...but abortion isn't illegal right now...so she couldn't really make it "legal" as you say.

This next part isn't a knock on you at all, but it drives me insane when people vote for a candidate because that candidate, or party, has a particular view on one particular issue...here are two good examples of what I'm talking about.
I dated a girl for a short time, that during the last election was so anti-Kerry, and so pro-Bush because supposedly Kerry supported abortion, and Bush was against it. She voted for Bush because he was against abortion...yet here we are four years later, and abortion is still as legal now as it was four years ago...so that was a great vote cast.
The next is actually a good friend of mine, who is so anti-democrat it isn't funny, all because of the issue of gun control. This issue might be touched before abortion, but not anytime soon...he says democrats want to outlaw all guns, while republicans are all for them....they may have differing views, but to me it's not looking like taking my pistol, or shotguns away from me, is gonna happen in the near future.

Yeah, I'm more democratic minded, though I do own guns....my point is, don't let one issue cloud your whole view on a person. You are voting on a person based on their views, their agenda, what you think they will get done while they are in office. I'm sure the girl I spoke of was right, Kerry probably was pro-abortion, while Bush was against it...but that doesn't mean that topic is getting touched....abortion is such a hot issue that NO ONE is gonna try to do anything about it, because the opinions on each side are so heated, and groups on each side are so crazy, no matter what you do, you are going to lose.

As evil Ed pointed out abortion is currently legal. Rowe v. wade. And as evil ed said voting for a someone based on such topics as abortion is idiotic anyway. They don't change these laws, the Supreme Court does. And for the gay marriage topic? How does it affect you in any way what so ever if they get married? Why would you care?

oh, can you PROVE that what you recieved in your email is right? take your own advice. When did people start believing everything they read? It always pays to do your own research, then develop an informed opinion.
