Is there anyone that could help a family buy kids presents? Receive food stamps but have very little income to buy gifts. Don't want to have others help but don't want kids to have almost nothing on Christmas! Toys for tots only get $20 thing for each child it is something kids need other things. If anyone can and will help I have 3 kids not worried about anything for myself. Please leave email or phone number

Contact Toys for Kids, care of the Casey County Bank. They have a big drive going on right now for donations to help families that need Christmas presents for their kids this year. I think the lady who works with this program at the bank is named Karen. Hope that helps you.

I am sorry but since "Tis the season for scammers" I find this post a little um fishy!!

why don't you work?....McDonald's is hiring so is Amazon

ONLY $20 is all toys for tots spend....jesus you are a GREEDY bum
most families who need help would appreciate a $20 gift

and if you get food stamps they probably already told you what programs there is that offer help to those in need

shut off your internet and use that money to go to the dollar store and buy 3 gifts for your kids

Whether this is a scam or not what worries me the most is replies like this.

"ide like to help but dont want any one to see my e- mail, so any ideas to how to meet and get your lil kiddos some toys?"

This could be a legitimate person needing helping and those out there who would take advantage of the situation. Please use better sense than this is so many people out there who would hurt children. Pretty sure there are safer ways to go about things than this.

The Trading Post might be able to help. Have you tried over there? I'm almost certain most programs have already taken applications..

Not sure if jp has an angel tree. Thank you all for the suggestions even those who thinks this is a scam. I hope we can get some good luck before christmas I gave a lady with a sign saying she needed help a few dollars even though I needed it for other things! My family member said she probally scamming people also but what if she wasn't her kids may really need help. If she was scamming she'll get paid back! I believe she wasn't an is in worse shape than me, only gave her $5 all I had!

First Baptist Church have a lot of shoe Boxes that they are sending out of the country that have a lot of stuff in them, maybe they can spare a few for you.I guess they think they are not needed in this Country.Wake up churches, and lets help our own people out first. We are always worried about some other country, while we have so many homeless vetrans, and familys right here in this country.

I just got laid off from Amazon and have no income. Im looking for work myself. I have 3boys I'd like to get presents for but haven't the money for. However my children understand. So instead of receiving gifts we are giving our time to those less fortunate at salvation army . I'd love to get for my boys but for us Christmas is about family and love not what's under the tree . Merry Christmas

This is for "Excuse Me".....First of all, I'm going to tell you how rude you are, which I'm sure everyone that has posted on this article has already noticed that....I don't even know who you are, and I dislike you immensely.. Second, and most importantly, there are families out there who bust their ass to try and make ends meet and there may be no extra money for gifts...etc...I'm a single mother of 4 , and I know how tough times are...However, I do have a job but if it weren't for lots of extra help from my parents, I wouldn't even have a vehicle to drive back and forth...Foremost, I think you might need to learn and understand a little more about the situation before you start making your smart ass, judgemental comments!! And for "worried", honey I would help you out, if I could, but lord knows I can barely take care of my own family...lots of love to you and those babies!! God bless you all! Hope you guys have a very Merry Christmas!!:)

This could be a SCAM.. I know they caught a woman for trying to take way to many gifts from one of those nice places where they help kids this time of year. They made her put it all back..Thats those people on Hwy 501 Across from that White Church up there on Kings Mtn.. BE WARNED..

Ok, well here's a great suggestion to those of you who think this is a scam! Order toys online from a place such as Toys "R" Us....and that way the items cannot be taken back. I do believe the nearest Toys "R" Us would be located in Louisville...There are a lot of bad apples that spoil it for the whole bunch! But we still have to help people in need...that's what God would want us to do afterall, right?...And who knows, you may possibly be in this situation one day and need help! Never make accusations or assumptions unless you know the whole story!
