Casey County is a big county. I definitely don't think it will shut down the DG in liberty. Everyone from Yosemite and Liberty will give them plenty of business. And everyone from Clementsville, Dunville and Creston will support the DG on 70 if one is built. The way gas prices are...I will gladly support a DG store so that we won't have to drive so far and we won't have to buy cleaning supplies, toiletries, etc., from a gas station with purposely inflated prices.

We have friends in 206 area yeah we know lol. Were looking at land near that hill on 70, the one between town and crocketts store but state is planning to redo 2 or 3 miles of hwy70. Itll be 2 or 3 years probaly and was told state will put out 2 or 3 rout options and let public decide which is best for their area but were not taking that chance. I think around the old elementrary school would be great! Do they let people use play ground equipment?
Before the Buis' bought it we could use the play ground equipment, but not anymore. Now that the new bridge has been built we no longer have issues with flooding. It's a great part of the county to live...you will be happy here.

Mr Goode has met with the buyer and its a done deal. The store will be located near red barn, rite next to new gate shop accross form Crockett Trail Store and Scotts Markett, oppisite side of shop from garage. The comment about a DG needing to be in high traffic area, have you drove on 70 lately? lol. There was a line of cars ahead of me today far as eye cud see, and traffic going to town, its just a growing part of our county and some people seem to be injected with being jeoulous. The day care does a great job to btw rite up the road, hope to see more things like this. We live near Stoner Creek on 70 west its closer to come to Creston where DG will be, than it is for us to go to Cambellsville(look at google maps how 70 lays our from Casey to Cambellsville, extremly crooked). It just makes since, they will get alota buisness from out this way and towards Columbia, Dunnville aswell. Dunville is only 4 miles from creston, i know....its crooked roads, THAT is only thing that may hurt DG.

They are in study planning stage of redoing KY70 west, from where new part is already, and their planning to bypass Bell Hill with new highway thats straighter wider with truck passing lane, pull off shoulders, turn lanes where needed. Iv gave permission to survey team last year, they did estiment on cost of doing about a 4 mile stretch or so, its 6 or 8 million dollars but Frankfort will give the signal as to final plan and moving utilites, water lines, buying property. Its in early stage but this shud make 70 safer, probaly be 3-10 years, depending on Frankfort politics and traffic counts on 70. They said traffic counts have trippled in past 15 years, i believe it. They also commented, the more buisness and homes that go up around 70, the faster the highway will be funded, so the DG store along with the new homes going up around, mite be what pushes hwy dept enough to give go ahead sooner than later according to survey team.

Is it true DG is owned by wal-mart? I know the label says scottville ky, but I saw a WM truck at a DG and the driver said they own it too.
