You shouldn't have to be rewarded for having well behaved kids! It's something that should automatically be done! Besides, you're making your kids behave for the wrong reasons if you have to be rewarded.

<quoted text>Blaming the system is a cop out for parents (I use the term loosely) who are too lazy and selfish to discipline their children and teach them right from wrong. Teaching is not abuse! Being a role model is not abuse! Children learn by example. The state is not going to step in and haul off a parent for setting a good example. There are different forms of discipline and they do not involve hitting a child or verbal abuse. Educate yourself because you sound both lazy and stupid as well as eager to place blame everywhere but where it belongs.
How bout you kiss my ass poser, I let my kids make most of their decisions on their own and yes they were some moments when they were between 9-15 but I never sweated the small stuff and now I have one at University of North Carolina studying music theory and one at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. And I could out parent your ass any day doing it my way, which is allowing them to be who they are not who or what society's conforming rules want them to be.

You totally missed the point. They weren't expecting to be rewarded nor is any other parent who had the brains to raise well behaved kids. The staff chose to do so after witnessing good behavior, which is few and far between in today's lazy and selfish society. My kids behaved because they were raised well and raised to respect authority and other people. You've got serious issues if you have a problem with someone admiring respectable behavior! Good behavior does not happen automatically. It is UP TO THE PARENT TO TRAIN THE KIDS.

With your disrespectful mouth and attitude, sure you raised well behaved kids. You give a kid an inch and they'll take a mile. Without parental involvement and being a good role model, they will go astray and not know how to behave. It's not about conforming to society. It's about showing some decency and respect, something you know nothing about. I've wasted enough time arguing with the very type of attitude that is wrong with this society.

YOU.

My point is that the parents shouldn't be rewarded for something there SUPPOSED TO DO! Raise their kids correctly! It doesn't matter whether thery're expecting a reward or not. I wouldn't give shit to a family with well behaved kids. If anything I would charge a family with obnoxious kids more! Like add $2 for every brat they had!

The teenagers are as bad as 2 year olds. Parents these days let their kids run the streets all hours of the night. Anything to keep the kids away from them. To many dope head parents! Kids these days tell the parents what to do. Sad society.

It sounds nice that you have two kids in college, but I hope you're enjoying paying 30 - 40 thousand dollars a year for two degrees that will look nice hanging on the wall. Or, your two kids paying student loans for years for worthless degrees, with which there is hardly ANY market in the real world. So many kids think that, just because they have a college degree, they're set for life, and it's just not so. There are too many PH D's flipping hamburgers, if yhey can get any kind of job at all.

Remember, all that fancy piece of paper gets you will be a job interview. If you don't have a degree or certification in a real world salable skill, or real world experience, you'll be back living with mom and dad forever. A degree or vertification in a skilled occupation is a lot more valuable and useful than any nice looking piece of paper on the wall.

The old joke is: Three ladies were sitting together talking about their children. One said,"My son is studying music in college, and it's costing a fortune. Another says, "My son is studying teaching in college, and it's costing ME a fortune. And the third proudly says to the others, "My son went to trade school and became a plumber, and he's MAKING a fortune".

Master spanker you have no clue sir, If you would look a little further than you could see out side your window you would know that in fact both studies are in high demand. Around Connertucky no, but neither plan to live around Connertucky. They will be where people have open minds and thoughts that consist of more than how we can walk to wal-mart. They will be in a place where I can go vacation. Austin maybe or Miami. There is alot going on outside of Fayette county. In fact she ( my daughter )has already spoken to a couple of different interested employers. So go back to bed.

I sincerely hope your daughter does get a good job with her degree, believe it or not, old man. However, in most cases, the best they can hope for with these type of degrees will entry level grunt work being an assistant to the assistant teacher or clothing store. I really do hope all works out with them, but it'll be very difficult in the highly competitive market they've chosen. And, yes, it'll have to be somewhere far from connersville.

I was the person who complained about kids behavior at pizza king. I , basically, put it on here to vent- but obviously, I am not the only one who noticed. I understand kids will be kids. That is not the issue. The issue is when kids are allowed to run, scream, and be obnoxious to the point it disrupts others and are allowed to run wild. Parents are supposed to teach their children so they can grow into responsible adults. I saw a little girl spinning on a chair at the beauty salon. The stylist asked her to stop while her mother did not correct her at all. Mom did notice when the little girl flew out of the chair and broke her wrist... So, what happens when they run into a server with a large pizza,or knives, or glass mugs? Teaching a child how to behave in public falls under parenting 101. My point being that not only are the kids being a pain in my ass, but noone who cares about the safety of their child would let them behave like animals. I feel sorry for children who are so unfortunate to have parents who are not parenting. If you do not like the topic, start your own. I , also, have never said that anyone should retaliate because it is not the child's fault. I hope someone who does not know any better will see this and think maybe my kids are behaving poorly and it reflects on me and gets a clue!!
