Have done full system check and have lost all my bookmarks. So fed up with computer problems! If you see one in the middle of Central Ave, it is mine! Will try to post tomorrow. Later all, take care and peace!

Sorry Mr Elle is sick. I use those wipes too. Mr Milee takes them to work. He tries to stay away from anyone who is sick. lol

pam I hate computer problems. My husband is convinced that Macs are the best. So that's what we have. I hope you get it figured out soon so we can keep your thread going.

Waves to K and MG.

Good Sunday morning friends. Has the big snow hit you all yet in Indiana. I heard you were suppose to get 6 to 10 inches. YUCK! I haven't checked our weather map lately. It did feel warmer yesterday than it has been. I've been thinking about K and her needing her coat.

Elle I had to laugh when I read your post about your granddaughters legs not reaching the pedals on her new tricycle. lol After the pictures you showed me of her, I could just picture her crinkling up her nose and putting her hand over her mouth. She is such a cutie. You are so blessed. Don't you just love Skype? We Skype the grandkids every Sunday night. It helps us to feel more connected to them.

pam I'm still hoping you get your computer problem fixed. It doesn't sound like anyone's found one on Central Ave yet? lol

MG we haven't seen you in a while. Hope every things well with you and yours. "The Bible" comes on again tonight. I've been recording it so I don't have to watch the commercials. lol

Anyone been watching the ballgames? Mr Milee is all pumped about the big IU game today. I may need earplugs. lol

Milee I got my coat from the cleaners on Friday. Thank goodness 'cause I think I'll need it in the morning...(smiling)

Well I'm gonna bop around the house today like the sun is shining (even though it's not) and I don't have a care in the world. lol! I had to go to the Post Office yesterday and the gal working the counter said it seems like we are in the Pacific North West. I have to agree with her. So I went on down to get my hair cut and decided to get my hair buzzed...Yep! I did it and I love it! what is it about a haircut that can give you a new attitude???

Pam hope you get that 'puter working right. I know that's frustrating and Elle glad your Hubby is feeling better. MG hope your weekend is going well. Milee I don't watch and follow sports much either. I remember you saying Mr Milee joined in on a commentary radio broadcast in your former city. He must really be into it and good at it.

Hope everyone is as well as can be today. Any birthdays coming up?

K you must have a great shaped head to pull off that buzz cut. The great thing about that cut is it low maintenance. And when your hair grows back it's all new healthy hair. lol

Yes my better half sure did enjoy those radio shows. It was sort of a hobby. He is all about sports. Thank goodness IU won. I watched a little of it with him before hiding in the bedroom with my laptop. He gets a little loud when he watches spots. Especially IU.

Thank goodness you got your coat back. lol

Hi everyone!

Has everyone's weekend been good so far? The hubby didn't have to work Friday, so we had a nice time. We went out last night to hang out with friends. And I'm heading out tonight too. So, needless to say the housework has piled up a bit.

Elle I'm glad your hubby is feeling better. He's lucky to have you to take good care of him. And that seafood sounds great!

Milee I saw that IU won today. So Mr. Milee is happy! I used to get into college b-ball when I was in undergrad. Now I'm just a football fan. I looked outside and there are snow flurries and there was some drizzle earlier.(Isn't 'drizzle' a weird word when you really look at it? Hee!). So we'll see if the bigger snow hits tonight.

K, so glad you got your coat back. How is the lady you care for doing? I'm sure you are a blessing to her. Does she tell you neat stories? And with your new hair-do, you are all ready for spring and summer!

pam, you talking about planting a garden is starting to make me want one. I usually only do a couple of tomato plants and my flowers. Is your herb garden inside? I've seen those. I think I'd like to have one of those too. You all are giving me ideas.

I sure hope this will post! I tried 3 times yesterday and it would not take my post. I don't know what was wrong. Does this ever happen to you girls?

Waving bye to you all :)

No my herb garden is all outside, I have a cat so no inside plant is safe. Really she only bothers some plants, others she leaves alone.

Wow! That IU game was a nail biter! I have been watching a few of the games and some have been really tight. Don't watch much basketball any more, I used to always watch but not now. I watch the Colts also.

Well that snow is sure coming down now. The best thing about a late March snow is that it doesn't last. Also good thing school is on spring break. Glad I don't have to get out in that unless I choose to go. I used to drive out of town for my job, before I retired. That was such a headache, always worried about getting to work on time.

Later, Take care all and be safe. Peace.

It's a new day it's a new dawn, hop out of bed and enjoy it. Or maybe hide back under the covers if there's a lot of snow out there. lol As for me, I think I'll do a whole lot of nothing. My laundry and house chores are pretty well caught up and Mr Milee goes back to work this afternoon so I think I'm going to watch movies. And maybe I'll do a little sewing. Heck I'm even thinking of picking up that book I still haven't read. lol Whatever you do, enjoy.

Good morning girls..getting the coffee on slept in today. I have a cough and am afraid Mr. Elle infected me..ugh. He's better, outside he goes to try the new snowblower for the first time..we've been paying a neighborhood kid whose dad is out of work to help them out. It's good to see a highschooler eager to earn money.. Hoping that this is the last snow of the season,we need to make sure it works good while under warranty.. Milee wish you were here we could watch movies and I'd fix some comfort food and bake cookies..Everyone be safe today ..waving to MG ..Pam, K..and everyone staying home today..

Howdy everybody!

Thanks for the heads up pam- about the herb garden. I have indoor kitties too.

Milee I didn't get to watch The Bible last night. But I'll get caught up again.

So do we think we are in the clear now for spring to head our way? I hope so! Driving home from my friend's last night was a little slippery.

Elle sorry you have a cough now. I hope it clears up fast. How did the snowblower work out?

A big wave to K :)

Well it's time for me to cook dinner and get ready to head out for a while. You girls have a nice night.

Tootles!

Elle I hate to hear that you are under the weather. Feel better soon.
Yes if I was there it would be fun to watch a chick flick in that movie room of yours. I love those recliners. On the other hand, you know us, we'd be to busy yaking and catching up. lol

MG I have it recorded and plan to watch it too.

pam hows your computer doing?

K did you get snow like Indiana? I can't believe Indiana has snow and Michigan doesn't. lol Thats a switch. I hope it all clears up before we leave here on Friday to drive back home.

Looks like I got to pick up the slack around here today. I need to grocery shop this morning.

Hello Everyone....

MG the gal I'm working with is doing well considering her circumstances. Yes we have some great conversations and thank you for asking.(smiling)

Elle hope you're not under the weather...

Milee I see it's warmer in your town right now than it is here or Connersville. That's the way it rolls sometimes. lol!

Pam hope you're well and the computer isn't causing any fits for you. I know how frustrating that can be.

The daffodils were standing a little taller this morning as I was walking to work. That's a good sign. Something else I notice a lot of when walking is the litter. There is so much of it. I think I'll take a bag and start picking it up. My first sweep would be a truck load....

I'm on break and having coffee and a sandwich. Wanted to stop in and tell everyone hello and wish a wonderful day to each and everyone.(smiling)

K I'm taking a break from sewing. Grrr... I'm about to pull my hair out. I don't know why when alternating three different materials I somehow get it out of sink. I sew 25 squares and then attach them to another 25 squares and somehow I end up with twin squares. lol I finally put it down and walked away from it because it was trying my patience. I guess I'll have to go back to square one. lol

Your talk about picking up trash reminds me of Obs. She always talked about having to pick up trash in her front yard because of all the litterbugs. It's a nice thing for you to want to do. I'll never understand how anyone can just throw their trash on the ground.

Glad your liking your job.

Hello All! Doing pretty good here right now. I have had some family in for a few days and they have now went home, so I am trying to get my house back in order. They were here for 2 days and nights and I love them dearly but I am happy to get my home back! It was nice.

KLM I understand about the trash. I live on a corner and "clean" it all summer. A while ago I was out feeding the birds and a woman came around the corner in a van and jumped out and came around to the passenger side. She then threw out a large drink cup and was brushing the ice off the floor, out the door. She then started around to the drivers side to get back in the van. Well, I ask her to pick up her cup, told her I got tired of cleaning up everyone else's trash. She did pick it up, but I was lucky. I didn't think before I yelled. But I really think I shocked her, that anyone called her out on her littering. I am glad she didn't just cuss me and drive away or worse! You can never tell how anyone will react anymore.

Yesterday my daughter showed me how to delete my husbands facebook page and I did. I was not sure about doing this but at every milestone his sister and nieces post a bunch of stuff on there about missing him. So every time I looked at Facebook I was an emotional wreak. I do not need these reminders, facebook is a escape for me and this just made me feel raw. My sisters would always call me and warn me, to try and ease the hurt, to protect me. My children are very supportive of me deleting but I don't want to hurt my sister-in-law. So I am second guessing my decision! Help! Did I do the right thing? What do you think?

Milee I understand about getting frustrated with sewing and ripping out! I used to sew all the time, not so much anymore. Was always cheaper to make some kids clothes than buying them.

Elle I have hear that honey and tea are great for a cough. And I am a big believer in the healing properties of garlic, a natural antibiotic. So load up! I have bought some garlic to plant this year, think I will put it in a pot instead of the ground.

Well take care all and Peace!

pam there is no need to second guess yourself. You did the right thing. You have to do what is right for you. And if your kids support you thats all you need. I agree with Elle, his sister will find another way to grieve. Deleting his FB page is like having to deal with getting rid of other belongings such as clothes. I know I grieved in silly ways when I lost my first husband. I never spent another night in our house. I couldn't. And yet when I did visit the house, it took me two weeks before I let myself clean the hair off the sink where he had shaven that morning. I would go into his closet and smell his clothes. I never knew at that time that that was a normal thing to do. A few moths later I sold our house and I gave almost all our furniture away. I felt like I had to make a new normal start for me and my kids. I'm sure I made many mistakes along the way but you do the best you can do because life does go on. Even when your heart is breaking and nothing can fill the void. It takes time. A lot of time.

Elle make sure you are drinking you fluids.

Hi friends :)

(This is my second attempt at posting. Grr... What is wrong here?)

pam I also think you did the right thing for you. And you have to take care of you first. I liked your story about asking the person to pick up their trash. You're feisty and I like that!

Elle I'm sorry you are sick. Get all the rest you can. Hopefully Mr. Elle can help take care of you now.

I think making a quilt would be very cool. But I don't know how nor do I know if I have the patience! Milee I bet you are really good at it. So if you're getting frustrated, I'd probably have already thrown it out the front door! My grandma made quilts and afghans and my mom can make clothes. I didn't really care for the parts of home ec in junior high when we had to knit or make a skirt. I always did like to cook though, from a young age.

K I noticed some of my flowers are coming up. It seems so cold still I don't know if they'll make it. How are you doing? Do you work a lot?

I can't remember if I ever said "thanks" for starting this thread pam- so thank you :)

Everyone have a calm and relaxing night.
