Depends on if there is any treaty signed by a president that bans guns . A treaty takes precedence over the constitution . So like if a president signs a treaty with say the UN (which has non physical country) that says that guns are banned from UN members citizens , then that treaty trumps any constitutional Right To Bear Arms . I'm not sure if a secret treaty has ever been made but if so , then no you do not have the right to own guns .

The Right to Bear Arms is in the Bill of Rights. The US has no right to enter a treaty without our approval.

Wow I was judged mean for replying to myself . What moron judged me mean , I just gotta know . eh eh eh . The first ten Amendments AKA the Bill of Rights came AFTER the original Constitution . You say "our" approval , who are you referring to ? A national vote ? Have you read www.ndaa2012.us ? Nobody asked me to vote on allowing the president to strip me of Due Process and detain me indefinitely without right to trial BUT it IS the Law now . They already are doing it at Guantanamo Bay . Also the patriot act I&II allow further erosion of your 'rights'. And now the department of homeland security has purchased 1 trillion bullets , 30,000 drones to spy on us and I wasn't asked to vote on that either . There have been numerous 'invasions' of our soil by Russian and Chinese Military who have actively engaged our civilian population . In my book that constitutes WAR , and those who have allowed I feel committed Treason . But as long as you see a two hundred year old piece of paper you think it is valid ? Get real .

Living in a free society? The answer is yes. Living In a society where the top executives of investment banks do not have to fear any reprisal for stealing hundreds of billions of stock holders money due to the fact they and their cronies OWN the representative, exectutive, and judicial branches of this government as well as all of the major media outlets? The answer is no.

You should feel privileged that they allow you to use the screen name " Two Cents."

That's a slightly better return than my 10 year CDs are making for me. Perhaps I need to add some OliOcc stock to my portfolio. I'll be able to retire by the time I'm 379. SWEEEEEET!
