I get the same emails all the time at work. USPS usually leaves a message at your home when there's a problem, so I don't think twice about deleting the email.

I received not one but two emails on two different dates. Because the attachment is not a word or pdf, I didn't open it.

Unfortunately we failed to deliver the postal package you have sent on the 27th of August in time, because the recipient's address is erroneous.
Please go to the nearest UPS office near you and show your shipping label".

I got this email that said i had a package from usps that would be coming to my address in 5 days. When i tried to open the attachment a trojan horse came up.
Immediately my adv anti virus deleted it. Usps does not notify people of packages by email.

I got four of them today, what a joke there is no such thing as it's .gov these people must thing that everyone is asleep at the wheel, the lights are on but no ones at home.
I send and receive quite a few packages and have never had such a lame attempt as this, I never click on such junk... I go to the website I know to be correct if I'm expecting a package and I then enter the tracking number there and get what I need from there.

They seem to have bought a domain as well now to scam more people. They use: [email protected] I checked it out and that domain doesn't have a website... But it did bring this up.

Read these scam e-mails carefully, you will find many grammatical and spelling mistakes showing that English is not the senders first language .

Just received two of these emails. The sender's email address looked fishy to me. If the email was coming from USPS, the email tag could not be "". Just wanted to let everyone know that these are still going around. Thanks for the info!

Just got a USPS letter in the post (Australia) telling me there's a parcel for delivery, to confirm my delivery address and send $30 to release the goods. Inspected by Catherine Morgan, Form 11-TS stationery. Even a big old green envelope. Yeah, like I wouldn't have paid for delivery to a company I bought goods from. Whoever sold my freaking details to Nigeria, well done - you've proven your worthlessness on this earth.
