I would like to hear some positive things about Union County Middle School!

With so many people bashing our school system, I would like to change the focus to more positive things. Isn't there anyone who can think of positive teachers, programs, etc?

I think the school's doing a good job with the budget problems they have. People don't understand that the school has to deal with so many students that have medical problems like diabetes, allergies, ADHD, etc. that really were pretty rare back when I was in school. On top of that you have parents who think their kid does no wrong and they raise hell when something doesn't go their way.

The only thing liberty schools do good at is treating the" different" kids like shit and I'm tired of it. Just because they and into sorts or books don't mean anything. They think just cus they are different. And not the perfect kid in there eyes they treat them like they arnt ganna be abything in life and irs not fair 4 the kids don't get me rong some teachers are nice and how they should be but all the other ones look down on the kids cus they are different

I don't disagree, however your post proves a need to go back to teaching basic english & grammar skills. You might want to enroll yourself.

Why does Union Co produce such RETARDED kids. You should not be permitted to use a key board. For any questions or editimg advice please see another school's 5th grader.

O and by the way I do agree with your post. It is because they have to many teachers from this town. In fact most teachers families have been here inbreeding for decades. They need to be fixed. Makes for a bad crop.

Did you think that the 'TOO many teachers from this town' may have returned from colleges to make it better? Good job on the positive post. My observation is most teachers employed at the middle school did not actually grow up here. Sad that nobody realizes raising good kids starts at home before ever entering the school systems.

I am POSITIVE this is a mediocre school system...I am POSITIVE the middle school is a breeding ground for the demoralization of our youth...I am POITIVE the schools do not know how to handle the environmentally charged increase in mental issues...I am positive that students lack a rounded education...I am positive there is more emphasis on sports than needed....I am positive that if you honestly think the UCMS is Nirvana, you must have attended it yourself.

union county middle school sucks. the assistant principal screams at kids for "bullying" even tho that is not the situation. Then sheplar puts her hands on kids and every teacher deffends her and she doesn't do anything around them so they haven't a right to say anything.. The principals won't even listen to ppl talk about it. it's bull. So yeahh. i can't quite say anything nice about it. You kno it's bad when a cop doesn't even like the school.

[Truth of the Matter]

To try and say anything positive about this school system as a whole is a stretch. For generations favoritism has been on full display as if you're not a child from a homesteaded farm family or a child with parent(s) that are directly involved in decision making then your child will suffer. Try to go to any meeting and promote change, (have) and the door will be slammed in your face if the issue at hand doesn't grease the machine (or someones palm). Take a child or teen out of this school and put them in a highly acclaimed school and they will struggle, but there are worst schools, slightly positive statement.

I think the school Is very unfair, and the best advice I can give is move!!! I believe many good teachers will be leaving because they can't deal with the way kids are treated. So good luck

Say what you want about the staff of our school. But I have to say that all of my teachers here are very professional and know what they're doing. No need to talk smack about them. Those teachers' lives practically revolve around us and make that their world. Yes, I know that you think some of the stuff they do might be unfair to you. The best 6th grade teacher would be Amy Fields, the best 7th grade teacher would be Susan Graham, and the best 8th grade teacher would be Chad Gutzwiller. The rest are also very good teachers. They do what they can to help you succeed. Sincerely, Actual UCMS Student.

i was an actual student too.. duh. they dont do to well of a good job. apparently your one of the kids whos in the sports and things.. or youve not been to the office much. bc they dont do nothin at that school.
