It kind of reminds me of that building with the concrete statues behind Wendy's. I doubt that is it but it just reminded me of it.

I cannot read but the building next seems to have a sign "No.4471" ? oh and a shaggy monster seems to be peering over the roof above the family ... does the poster even know ? i'm sure its gone now

I'll bite. You've changed the original sign for it to say Connersville. Fonts and spacing don't match and it kinda looks like fruit trees planted in a row like that.

Thanks fotomaniac. I would have said at the corner of 30th and Park Road where I remember there being a market later on but being a gas station makes me think it was down on 3rd closer to the canal.

You're way off here. This is a picture of the first Texaco station opened in CONNELLSVILLE, Pennsylvania in 1919. The young child is my father!
