Causes seem to be speeding and not paying attention. I hear horns all the time and witness people pulling out of Dunlapsville Rd into traffic. There aren't that many accidents, but a lot of near misses! Sign is posted for 40MPH,but during the summer it needs to be even lower because of people trying to get in and out of businesses. Not that a sign will help anyone slow down, but truly wish people would pay more attention when they pull out onto 101.

The speed limit thru Roseburg is 55 mph. The posted 40 mph is a yellow sign and is only a suggestion like the yellow signs before curves. The fruit stand should have never been allowed to have an entrance off of 101. Their entrance should be off of Dunlapsville road. The other problem with that intersection is the signs on Dunlapsville rd headed to 101 are not very visible and when the semi trailers are parked there they are nearly impossible to see until the last minute.

To: DaTruf I agree with most of what you are saying, but I see this traffic all the time. Most of the actual accidents(or near misses) occur when someone is going north on 101 and trying to turn left onto Dunlapsville or on Dunlapsville turning left to go north on 101. Yes, signs going east on Dunlapsville Rd aren't very clear about a stop sign ahead. I hear people slam on the brakes coming up to that stop sign. The fruit stand does have an entrance on the side, just not very visible. But there are also 2 other businesses here, firewood/fireworks and car sales. I wish people would take the suggestion of 40 MPH, but they usually don't, LOL.

i dont think the horns being blown are near misses but the produce guy telling people to blow their horns to harass some one he doesnt like since being from connersville he doesnt know any better the sherriffs dept has been notified and the state police are watching also most of the people are from connersville that are causing the most problems horns by law are for safety not harassment

see who had to put up security cameras and ask him whats going on it seems to me that all someone has to do is leave each other alone all this harassment is doing is hurting peoples business alot of people have quit paying produce from that guy in roseburg already

It does seem that when the fruit market is open, there is a lot more horn blowing, and there are a lot of near misses. Just last week, a young lady fell out of her car. She was a passenger who was yelling and waving at everyone on her way through the area. I think alcohol was involved. Last year, an older gentlemen got distracted with the horn blowing and rear ended a truck. I realize that it is a normal response to honk at someone you recognize as you pass by, but keep it at a minimum.

A lady did not fall out of a car! You people need to get your facts straight! Her husband had vehicle trouble she went to push...And her arm got caught in the door when the vehicle started up. Her shoulder was messed up and face scratched up.There was a boat that fell off of a trailer the weekend before..Nothing else! Yes there is a lot of horn blowing that's because people drive 70 miles an hour through here and its not possible for anyone to even pull out anywhere. What is needed on the weekends is a cop sitting out here writing tickets to all these out of owners that drive like idiots!

If a horn blowing causes a person to wreck their vehicle...they need not be driving in the first place. It sounds like the Roseburg residents have a problem with the produce guy and just want to use anything they can to get rid of him. Grow up you horses azz, he is just trying to make a little money.

Jonsey I live here also! And , there are no cops out here pulling anyone over! So I don't know where your getting your information! Shoemaker is out here once in a while. But when the guys pontoon boat fell off the trailer a cop never showed up until the boat was back on the trailer! I could care less about the men at the fruit stand..I get fruit from them! They don't bother me.And I don't know of any undercover cops pretending to be log buyers.Seeing there are no trees for logs around Roseburg. I think ya need to take a chill pill and quit hallucinating! And if the sheriffs department has assigned deputies out here well its about time! But I haven't seen any!

Thank you, wow! I also live here and buy from the market. I also don't know what jonesy is talking about. There is increased traffic in the summer and people just don't pay attention. There are accidents here in the winter too! There were accidents before the market ever opened 7 or 8 yrs ago. It's the intersection that's a problem, not the fruit market.
