Remember, migrant does NOT mean immigrant, migrant is a person who moves from one place to another because of work in agriculture. So, migrant in this sense means black, white, latino, etc... both citizen/legal resident and non.

You are ducking the POINT anonymous. That is the problem. They are mst likely 100% illegal. Just like most of the crack heads in Harlem, New York are blacks. Why because that is there community. I saw a news report the other day that gave a very detailed discription about the suspect. Everything except skin color. How wonderfully poliically correct and totally ineffective and incomplete. You don't win a football game by being soft. You don't catch the criminals (illegal migrants are criminals because they are breaking the law) by being stupid.

Taxpayer, i don't think you read my post very carefully. A migrant farmworker is a person who migrates WITHIN the U.S., NOT from another country, to do work in agriculture. If you read my previous sentence carefully and keep your mind open, you may be able to see that I'm not speaking about immigrants. Now yes, there are people who are immigrants and even undocumented in this group, but if you were to do some research, this is not a racial or immigration issue. It's an educational issue. These programs exist to help migrant (again, NOT immigrant or undocumented) farmworking families and their children. Since these families move frequently, their children face many educational challenges. Now, if you don't like what these programs are doing, then you're also against helping students and families who are U.S. citizens just because you are categorizing them as "migrant" and you can't separate that from "undocumented immigrant". I pay taxes too, but I guess my mentality is different than yours. If I am able to, I will help others in need. I'm not going to play the taxpayer card. That's the difference between selfishness and knowing what's important; the students. If anything, you should be thankful these programs, the people who work for them, and the students who have become success stories because that means that you have a more educated workforce which in turn can mean a better future for the U.S. I really hope that you do some research and look at things with a new perspective. It just gets tiring to hear people make everything be a race, gender, or immigration issue. Sometimes, it's just about educating children and helping them succeed so they can be productive citizens, even if they are undocumented.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Pisces

Someone is in a very boisterous mood today, and you may want to make yourself scarce after a short spell in their company. Their idea of a joke may be your idea of extreme rudeness, or they could take pleasure in being argumentative just for the sake of it. Don't let this person wind you up or you'll go off pop through sheer tension.
