well, A.) it's hugoton, B.)food service work sucks, C.)if you dont pay more than 10 dollars for a meal dont expect much. i mean really!
D.)its the fast food industry itself. work you like a beat dog and give you just the scraps off of their profit for payroll. perhaps they need to pay the employees a bit more and service may improve drasticly! |

It's the management. I used to manage it years ago, then went to another one and managed it. Other sonics try to have an average order time of 2.5 minutes. The hugoton one is lucky if it's 5.

If you go in the evening good luck. It's all teenagers running the show. We pulled in there last Saturday night at 10:50pm and they shut the lights off and closed down. What's with that? I thought they stayed open until midnight on Friday and Saturday night? We pushed the button 4 times one evening and never got a response. Moved to another stall and when we did, someone else pulled in the other one and the speaker came right on.....it's the freaking teenagers running the show. So sad. I used to give tips to kids but now they don't care. |

yes, i agree with all of you guys, the service is really bad, and half of the time i've had my chicken raw, jus imagine...i jus don't go there any more, I don't think any one should...

I guess I'd say...If you don't like the food, like the service, then just don't go there. When people quit coming and they quit making money they'll either shape up or ship out!

You know I agree I do not like the way they prepare the food either and we did quit going there but I notice at noon the place is packed so I thought it was just us and we were to picky...So who knows??? |

I totally agree with you, what takes them so long is that the employees are chatting and to busy flirting around get some real employees not people who are there to mess around! |

I truly agree, especially when you go for HAPPY hour and wind up really disappointed when you have to wait for a drink for over 20 minutes, if you're lucky!!!!!!!!!!

Its been months since i've been there and it seems to have gotten worse. Who is supposed to be running the place? I order sweet tea and get unsweetened. And then it takes 7 mins to get it. What gives?????

Come on people... Stop griping and just call the main office and state your complaints. Only then will the owners see that there is a real problem and that they need to look into this and make some type of changes. I called and "Dan" sounded shocked as if maybe I was exaggerating my wait time for my drink or that they would get my order wrong every time I went. Either speak up or shut up!

I Agree with "United we can" on the fact that the only way to change places like that is to call the main/franchise office itself and put in a complaint. complaining on a message board or to the store itself will get you nowhere.
now, on the other hand i cant stress enough how bad food service work really is. i worked at the south sonic in liberal for 3 years before it got shut down and i can honestly say, without a single doubt, that fast food work is one of the absolute crappiest types of work you can do as far as attitude of managers/higher-ups and the low pay. these people work really hard, alot harder than many people might think. On top of that they also have to work at a breakneck speed wich i wouldnt wish even on a cow getting slaughtered at national beef. so basicly what im trying to say is yes it is rediculous that the sonic in hugoton is like that but you also must keep in mind that those people are being worked like beat dogs for very little pay plus with this recession going on people just arent tipping like they used to so obviously morale would be pretty low. |

They need to take lessons fron Ulysses, Their management is great. Service is great!

I think people should quit complaining and if they don't like sonic then go somewhere else. or go run the store your self. don't judge unless your in the situation.
