Why did the other 2 deputies that helped Brad vandalize Missy's house not have to spend time in jail with him. I thought if you broke the law you got punished. But I guess Cops are above the law, or so they think. There is a video I have heard.

Let me get this straight, The deputies were accomplices of Brad committing a crime, yet they are still deputies. If they catch a man stealin something they arrest him, if they catch a man sitting near by in a truck as way of getting the stuff moved don't they arrest him also. Are we dealing with two different sets of rules here.Brad did wrong, but the others did too. They new what is right and what is wrong if not they are not worth the money the county pays them.

From my understanding and it might be wrong so don't jump all over the place but the disagreement between him and her is a civil matter hence why it was the chancellor who charged him and not the general session court. The crime was not the taking of items rather him not returning them as ordered.

I won't get upset, i'm just trying to figure this out. I'm glad i'm in Decatur county if that's the kind of deputies in Henderson co. About every day there is at least one law man (not just from Henderson Co) on the front page of the Jackson Sun paper who has been arrested for something. That just another good reason to keep our guns. The saying is when guns are outlawed only outlaws will have guns (lawmen included). I just feel sorry for Missy and Fallon having to be put through all this. Brad should be put in jail till he can show some respect for his family.Really he may need a mental evaluation. With all the nuts out there, just like last week in Tucson, you never know till it's to late.

You can't steal or vandalize property jointly owned through marriage!! He was arrested for contempt of court for not obeying the Judge's order. That's it, nothing else.

First off, every morning I go to work I put my life on the line for the people I serve, Second, If I don't like it I can find another job, Third, If I don't earn the respect of the people I serve I don't deserve respect. What Brad Reeves did was about as low as it can get to do something like that to your daughter. And also contempt of court is breaking the law, These three men were breaking the law, the other two new what was going on enough said about that.I know Brad, Missy and Fallon real well and I am sorry for what has happened to this family. I pray them daily. And by the way disgusted police wife I pray you go to Heaven. Praise to our military service people they do a great job and I thank them daily

I don't agree with what he did, but it is an ethical issue not a criminal issue. I go to work doing the job everyday, and have worked beside Brad. And I agree what he did was wrong, but letting the other people know it was not criminal.

Well the point is still the same the removing of the property was not criminal, so those officers who helped him do that broke no laws, no different than any other person who helps a friend move. The wrong doing was when brad did not return those items. Now I know brad and like him, wish he wouldn't have done the things he has but everyone makes mistakes in their life.

No and No, just keeping things straight. I don't agree with what he did!! Never have never will. But it wasn't criminal, it was civil! When you are married property is jointly owned 50/50, and the judge decides the outcome, Brad was told to return property and refused so the judge had him arrested for contempt of court. That's it end of story!!

Yea if the Sheriff wasnt scewing his wife none of this would of started. Duke always screws his friends and their wifes ask D.Bowman, K.Jones. Duke was the cause of this, then he just made a phone call the the Judge and had a contempt put on him.
