State Not Likely to Assess Fee on County for Sewage Spill
The Maryland Department of the Environment will likely not assess a penalty to Howard County for sewage overflow resulting from a loss of electricity at the county's wastewater plant in Savage, according to a spokesman.

Swell. Then I can stop paying the money-grab flush tax, right? Since the pollution from this release negates any collective septic tank impact for decades to come, if not centuries.
