October 24, 2009 -- HOOD RIVER, Ore . -- The historic Columbia Gorge Hotel in Hood River, Ore., is being bought by Tri-Cities and Eastern Oregon hotel owner Vijay Patel of Kennewick.

Very happy to see the hotel is going to be used again, it has a lot of history and is a beautiful setting. could be included in the winery tours or site seeing cruises of the gorge.

[Oregon Is Disgusting]

Tourists? Where? Who in the world goes there when it is wet, muddy, overcast and cold? Who?

People go to places like Hawaii, not Oregon. There is a long list of reasons why:

- Oregon weather is awful.
- Oregonians are rude and unwelcoming.
- There is nothing to do in Oregon. You see a tree, you see another tree..whoopee.
- The food in Oregon stinks. It might have been promising in the past but now it is indifferent at best and, no, there is plenty of Pinot elsewhere at much better prices.

[Oregon Is Disgusting]

It seems like every other business in Portland is shuttered. There are tons of - for lease - signs everywhere. There are tons of dark store fronts in the trendy areas.

What the heck? Where did the businesses go?

[Life a Journey]

When one sees for the first time in their lives the truth about Oregon's history and the lands they will realize that Life is a Journey and we all have to experience it!
Oregon has received a similar down turn in its economy just as many other state have. And yet some individual will still complain because they haven't looked at themselves for the problems in their lives instead they blame others.
Oregon is stunning the trees are our lives they stand tall and strong against all odds and still one can go stand next to them and feel the love that stems from them unconditionally.
Oregon Wines are delightful and the individuals whom take care of the Vineyards work hard to make and productive wine. So no harm can come to them as everyone in Oregon works hard for the love of Oregon!
