Jamie lyons now headlining in HEAVEN and reunited with his dear sister ROSE and boy am I sad about this loss. I remember one special night;we all were in the usual get-to-gether of music and experimentation and Jamie shows up with his newest find courtesy of a dj he knew. He opened this new album with a zeppelin on the cover and man did he surprise us yet again. Jamie...GOD bless you brother.

"as you go through life trying to reach your goals, just remember what I said about a little bit of soul." God rest yours, Jamie.

I often wondered what became of Jamie Lyons and the rest of great guys in the Music Explosion. I played with a band called The Daybreakers out of Cincy back in the 60's and we spent many a night together on the road going to each others gigs. Jamie was one hell of an entertainer and will allways bring a smile to my heart when I think of him...

Jamie was one of my best friends in the 60's. I have been living in Montana and Philadelphia for the last 16 years and was not aware that Jamie had died. What a shock to me! Great guy! He used to tell me of his fears of dying young. He'll always live in my memories of that great decade!

My Dear Sweet Jamie how u will be missed. Even though it has been many years gone bye I always thought of you and the many times I fought like hell to get you to a gig. I'll never forget the time you came home wearing your monster boots all sprayed silver with fake red paint for blood on them! You definately were a good trip, and I hope to see you soon when I make my journey home. I'll always love you dude,'Rock On!' Peace, Colleen

This is sad to hear about Jamie. I used to live in this area and hung out with those guys. I was just looking around and read this about Jamie. Anyone know the whereabouts of a musician named Butch Brown?
