I live on Pine Top & it bothers me so bad to know that I taveled that way today to go get food & I never reconized that gaurdrail like that. And everyday me & my daughter walks around Pine Top & up Odell Owens rd. We dicussed it many of times that someone could be down those banks & nobody would ever know. So we always tend to look. But today became a busy day & we hadn't got to walk yet. I just want to let the family know my heart goes out to you all. I know what it is like to lose a loved one. I'm praying for you all.You must keep in mind that one day we will all be together again.

No matter if they were drunk or not...No one deserves to die that way!! God is the ultimate judge and it is not your decision (breathing clean air) to decide if they "deserved it" or not!!

I am a Winston Salem Journal carrier and I go up and down this road every morning. I came though there just before that happened. I wish I would have been running late, maybe I could have saved their lives. I come through their about 3:45 this morning. The family and friends will be in my prayers.

That is just missed up!! Why would you even say something like that?? If it was your family, you wouldnt say that. Drinking or not, No one deserves it. And the families do not deserve to read this. They are going through enough! I dont know the names of the guys, but even if I dont know them, my heart and prayers go out to the friends and families!

Wow, I cant believe that some people are so miserable that they have to take something as tragic as this and try to make someone even more heartbroken. Shame on you "drunk and deserved it." I hope that you never go through something like the families of these two men are going through right now, but if ANYONE would be the one to "deserve" it, it would be you. My heart goes out to the familiy of these two men. You will be in my prayers.

To Sandy and Peewee,
I am so sorry to hear this. My heart is breaking for you. If there is anything we can do please let us know. Rick called me Sunday evening and let me know. We tried the number I have for Aunt Peggy but apparently it was wrong. This is such a tragedy. We love ya'll and you are in our prayers.

NOW TO "Breathing clean air"...what provokes people like you to post something so cruel? It does not matter what the circumstances are here (AND YOU DO NOT EVEN KNOW), a mother and father have lost 2 children today, have a little bit of compassion or just SHUT UP!!! I try avoid people like you and just let the nastiness roll off my back because you are ignorant. God forbid the day you are faced with a similar situation because unfortunately we will all have to face an untimely death at some point. Save your cruel and mean comments for your mirror because the person looking back at you deserves what you dish out.

I have very fond memories of my classmate Daryl Everhart...from riding bikes together, to cutting up in class, to laughing on the bus ride home from school. Daryl was quite a character. A lot of fun. My prayers go out to the Everhart and Rush families. I know this is a difficult time but I pray that the love and comfort of God will keep your during this time. May you rest in peace classmate. WE won't forget you. RIP Brandon.

Sooo it's wrong for him to say that but for you to say that he deserves to die is right? 2 wrongs make a? that's what I thought.

Alcohol wasn't a factor? Really? Someone should really ask the people at the bar from sat nite....

First of all our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and to his beautiful fiance and their children..

No one has said that alcohol was or wasn't a factor in the accident. They are still looking into the crash. We were with the brothers last night at the bar and Brandon never drunk a drop of alcohol but they are not saying who was driving. We are always hanging out them and having a good time. But like everyone said if alcohol was involved they didn't deserve to die like that and at a young age. The children doesn't deserve to lose a father either. We will be praying for the family and friends and children...You will be missed ..RIP
