Aluminum can mega-giant Ball Corp to compete with Alcoa for ownership of local lakes in the Yadkin River. First rumoured by a local Davidson County newspaper, Alcoa isn't the only giant entity that wants to take control of the power that can be generated by the water in the lakes from High Rock and further down. This is major development in the battle between Alcoa and the NC government.

What does everyone think about this? I for one, would love to see some other competition for ownership over the water at the lake!

You have got to be kidding. The state is the only entity that should have ownership of the water and the power it generates.
