Well put I agree, this is a bunch of crap. I'm sick of Stanek playing politics all the time. You're right he seems more concerned about his political image, instead of what matters most which should be the "citizens of the community".

Fletcher has about a Million dollars tied up in real estate, then there is his gambling at the Casino's, only the FBI and Alan Childs really know how much he has blown at the Casino's, and well, the prostitutes, especially the underage ones...

We all know that Bob Fletcher looks a lot like Earl Montpetit, you put Bob Fletcher's picture up next to Earl Montpetit's mug shot, and boy do they sure look alike, almost the spitting image...

It would seem that the integrity of the Sheriffs Department and any officers who work in Hennepin or Ramsey county is at stake here. It's sad for the really good officers who are still out there. I am sure they are shaking their heads in wonderment about all this. But they will surely feel the animosity from the public that all this has created. The bad apples that seem to have been sprinkled around are taking their toll. How about we go back to square one where their main job is to "serve" and "protect" the people who pay their salaries. It has always been a dangerous and rather thankless profession. But then they knew that when they signed on. What has changed is their perception that everyone is a potential criminal that is just waiting for the right moment or situation. That is one of the things that needs to be rethought. We deserve better than this from our hard earned tax dollars.

Campion has always been in charge of the Strike Force. He seems to prefer reacting to the results of his poor management then to proactively manage for good results and it’s not just the Strike Force.

People hacking into the Driver’s system and MJNO. Not being able to keep track of who has insurance leading to license suspensions that should not have happened. The CriMNet boondoggle. DNA results taking forever to get back. Criminal History records are a joke. How many times have we seen where some pervert teacher or school bus driver had a clean BCA record, but a reporter found their public record in like 5 minutes?

Wreecking the Gang Strike Task Force? He had nothing to do with it prior to being charged with cleaning up after Fletcher and Ryan. Fletcher's wasted time in his failed attempt to find justice for Barbara could have been better used running the task force.

It's sad that politics killed something that was working. The only mistake made was to put cops in charge of accounting. It wasn't anything nefarious, it was poor record keeping. That is all. The only problem is they went toe to toe over funding with some political big wigs because they believed in what they were doing, and those political big wigs are now getting their revenge. And we are less safe because of it.
