Her attorney made a statement at her last court appearance, it is on YouTube, that it didn't matter if the bond was " a million or a billion, she can't make it." So, I'm not sure I believe the rumors of an alleged inheritance when this came straight from the mouth of her attorney. At one of her first court appearances, they (in fact) tried to get the bond reduced to $100,000 in hopes of paying the 10%. Those numbers seem much more realistic to me.

And you can't believe anything Shana throws at you either. Sounds like another one of her grandiose lies - maybe to entice Ryan to stay with her?

This, I do agree with. As he tried to end the relationship for weeks before his death, she was desperate. I know she thought he would stay ~ yes, it may have been concocted (many tales from her are, or exaggerated), but it was a ploy she thought would work.
Correct, her atty did claim they COULD make bail ~ and I believe it probably as little to do with trust funds, grants, or inheritances.
And my information is a personal source, not the media. I've not even seen it on TV once, or read anything in the paper. I'm clueless to how the 'media' up north is handling it.

I agree with 40515. You obviously did something wrong to be there. You all are mad because you weren't free to fall back into your old ways. You sound like idiots. Who are people going to believe them or you??

Campbell County wants to see that Shayna is tried there, in their community, in Ryan's home. The judge will say "flight risk, danger to community, danger to self, etc., however it is 99% to keep her in CCo. to see local justice fulfilled.
He was murdered in Campbell County. Where else would they try the case....bond or not?? You think if she gets out and comes to Lexington they'll have to try it here then?

Being American gives you the pleasure of being innocent until "they" prove you guilty.

If you are in Peru the game would be in reverse.

First of all he was a gun collector for "two possible reasons" one just in case his client didnt think he was so talented, or misunderstood "we are going to win" with your case is the judge's decision. Many guns in the house. If he thought she was so crazy why did he have them out in the open for her to access? Why would he let someone he wanted to breakup with get to his guns? She was serving a purpose to him.

Abuse comes in many forms, if he wanted to breakup why didnt he stop answering his phone and lock his door like most talented lawyers do?

Abuse could be considered playing with her mind by stringing her along breaking up and then having her come back, doing this over and over causing her to be fearful and abused mentally. What Purpose did she serve to him?

Most on his closest friends say he was a talented lawyer who knows how to mold the truth into his own use and win, how are we to know his telling family he wanted to break up was just covering up the truth of what he was really doing to her mind and the relationship? She served a purpose to him.

Maybe he mentally abused her until she defended herself the only way she knew how at the time. Making her self defense possible because his mental abuse caused her temporary insanity, and while insane saw his gun as a solution to his intense mind abuse he was inflicting on her.

The detective questioned her at the wrong time and her words were twisted from her stressful time to his calculated time. His statement is Hearsay and only his opinion of what she truly meant.

He knew she was in love with him, his family says obsessed but they were not there parting with them at the club, drinking and driving them home, the people they used to hang around are known for mountains of blow till 6am, blow also makes someone buy guns because they get paranoid, maybe they have a toxicology readout to "prove it". He took care of her alright as good as most people wouldnt, seen in clubs downtown, the talented lawyer was the life of the party. He was in love with her as far as anyone could see, then she goes to the bathroom and he had other girl friends till her return. If you look you can find the pictures of them in the social scene, many photographers took there picture at the club party.

Remember he is a talented lawyer who has been trained to question imply and make things seem as he wants them to for the judge to decide in his favor. He lives his job making himself look bright and talented in the eyes of others.

Very few people know why he bought guns so close to this tragedy. Uncovered scandal in his law firm which may have made him buy the guns? He slept with them in his bedroom and had them in the kitchen too, just in case. Maybe he was taking his fear and anger out on her by abusing her mind making her afraid of what he involved her in.

Someone needs to look into the scandal uncovered at his law firm. Perhaps this stress he brought on himself, made him abuse her and make her afraid for her life.

In time the scandal will come out and people will understand more about this case and what he involved her in making her afraid for he life.

The judge is going to take a close look at how he strung her along while knowing she was mentally unstable.

It's incredibly extreme and 'outside the box,' but a point has been proven. If Shayna's attorneys pull one or two victories during jury selection, gaining a sympathetic woman with an abusive past, a blue-collar worker who hates and stigmatizes lawyers, or someone 'seemingly normal' who has had past negative interactions with drugs/guns/violence, they may win. As mentioned, it will be questionable as to why guns were in the home, with Shayna having access, if Ryan believed she was in any way a threat. If her legal team can pull together a few on the jury, and discredit testimony with public photos of Ryan and Shayna's relationship, again, doubt is placed... Many statements in her post are only the tip of the iceberg in which Shayna's attorneys are too, plotting to prove the inconsistencies.

Oh, the people I could have justifiably murdered throughout my 60 years of life if "mental abuse" was my valid defense! But no, I just got mad, cried, learned from it and moved on. And now I find out I could have shot those young men if they wanted to leave me? Who knew.

I don't know if any of Ryan's friends or family are ever here, but if you are I just want to say how sorry I am that this holiday season will be so tragically different for you. I don't know Ryan but I have grown children and I know they're always babies to me and the lack of their presence at Christmas would be so difficult for all the family. Just please know that even strangers are sad for his loss and thinking of all of you at this time. Hug each other even closer this Christmas and try to have good memories fill the void. He seems like the kind of fun loving person who would want you to. I'm so very sorry.
