Honestly.. I just dont get it... I have been biting my tongue thus far... I am not going to post anything personal or revealing about Shayna as she is a good friend. No one knows what truly happened that night but Shayna and Ryan. Sadly he is not here to tell it. But to those of you that claim they have information... My only conclusion is that you are seriously disturbed and in need of attention. If you do in fact know either party involved, you would not be posting their personal information all over the internet. I am aware that this forum is for voicing yor opinion. However, it is not for claiming that you know the facts when you do not. I also want to add that those of you "former friends", you were never a true friend at all. If you are going to abandon your "friend" without even considering all options. With friends like you.. who needs enemies. Indeed this is a sad and tragic situation for all parties involved. My heart goes out to both families.

Just to be clear, I wasn't claiming to have information...I actually called the Campbell County Detention Center to see about potentially visiting Shayna and was told that she had to set up visitation upon me writing to her and her calling me collect (assuming I had a land line phone) to confirm the visitation time. That is all.

Forums are for expressing opinions and sharing what you may know about the case, whether you knew either party or not. I have said before, nobody OWNS this forum or has a right to tell anybody else what to think or share. If you are sensitive to the material in these comments, then I have a workable solution for you...DON'T READ THEM!!

Just read what the group I COULD DIE intrests are. Creepy, this girl was obviously very disturbed. So sad it was never treated before she became deadly.

Ryan was trying to get away from her and mentioned that she just came into $2 million dollars (HENCE...why her bond was upped to $5 million because she was about to be bonded out) and he said even that amount of money was not worth keeping her crazyself around. Sad situation for everyone.

Did he mention where she was getting this money, and how he knew it was a fact and not a Shaynaism?

He didn't give any details but he said it was legit. Why raise the bond amount to $5 million cash?!? That's a crazy amount of money, heck even the $1 million is a lot for most people and they knew she was able to bond out on the $2 million.

I doubt this very much. It sounds like another Shayna attempt to hang on to Ryan.

Why do you have the right to tell someone else whom is expressing their opinion what the forum is about? That person who you replied to stated this forum is for expressing opinions and not to spread lies and rumors about a person who cannot defend themselves currently. Actually I think you are just a Shayna hater.

On another topic the bond was increased because a visiting judge lowered the bond without authorization and when left clear instructions not too. The judge came back the next day and was not happy thus made it 5million. What is the difference 1 million or 5 million she is not getting bonded out unless her mother is Oprah. Shayna did not run into $$$$Millions$$$$ or she would be out and about versus making calling card calls from behind bars.

Happy Tuesday

I thought when making bail you had to only come up with 10% and the bondsman does the rest. Is that wrong? Still,$500,000 is Not Cheap. Just wondering if anyone out there knows the law. Thanks.

It depends on the discretion of the presiding judge. Here, Judge Thomas determined that bond shall be met by $5 million CASH only. Thus, there is no option for 10% of bond or putting up property in lieu of cash.

Hey Bonnie...get with the times! Forums are for whatever the hell you want to say! If someone wants to come on here and blast Shayna until next week, they can. If you don't want to read it, get off the forum! Plain and simple. I highly doubt you know Shayna and are close friends with her...just another dopey attention-seeker! I am not a Shayna hater, I am a murderer hater. Go start a Shayna supporter forum and leave the rest of us to our comments and freedom of speech.

Kentucky does not allow the practice of Bail Bondsmen. Ohio does and I know a lot of other states as well But not Ky. The Judges get to take inmate information and background into factor and then decide the bond. In most cases they will allow a cash or property bond, in Shayna's case, which is of the most violent, Judge Thomas would not allow a property bond. Judge Thomas is one of the most fairest and experienced Judges around, she knows what she is doing!

I'm pretty sure she would be able to put down a $2 million property bond.

Well that's what an article said online. However this must have been when her bond was reduced to 1m. Property bonds are usually availiable just at 2x as much as the cash bond. So your parents better be real ballers to get you out of that....

I disagree. She sounds like she was jealous, possessive, and pushy, but not truly insane by definition. If she is a sociopath, I don't think that qualifies you for an insanity plea. It has to be that you are legitimately incompetent to make a decision due to your insanity, for the plea to be legit. I don't think the people here are making that case for her.
