I have thought from the very beginning that too much credit is being given to the neighbor who claims she heard crying on the balcony, then a short time later shots, a body fall, followed by more shots. Who in their right mind would listen to that, basically right above their head, and sit there (for at least 15 minutes) and never call 911? No other neighbors heard a thing! Which I also believe because I was the Property Manager for luxury town homes and my residents would always tell me they couldn't hear anything from neighbors above them, below them, beside them. But outside on the balcony, well then of course they could hear anyone else outside. I think Shayna shot and killed him, then took that time (however long it was)to try and destroy evidence on his cell and computer (it's been stated that she had tried), and then called and cried to her mommy when she realized she was screwed. And I would bet money that is ALL the neighbor heard, the crying.

I disagree. She isn`t that calculated. Shayna panicked. Murder wasn`t premediated. I think she is naive & really believes her self defense claim. If you are going to kill somebody in their own home why would u call 911 & say he is dead & not breathing. Bitch should have went on the lamb & got out of the state ASAP.

I never once stated it was premeditated. In my opinion, she shot him in a rage and THEN panicked and tried covering things up and called her Mom. That part has pretty much already been established and reported in the media, that she tried covering up evidence and called her Mom.

I agree she should've gone on the lamb. But I think I'm gonna disagree on the premeditation. These earlier postings say she deactivated her Facebook account that very day. I'm pretty sure she drove all the way from Lexington or Richmond (wherever she lived) with some kind of intent. Whether it was a murder/suicide in which case she obviously changed her mind, or she was gonna threaten to kill herself to gain his sympathy. Which obviously that didn't pan out either.

One of his associates was quoted as saying he saw him Friday on his way out about 6:00 pm. He told him he had plans later that night with friends. He never said anything about a girlfriend coming to town.(Which is what he would've said.)

He was not expecting her. She on the other hand had another plan. What a train wreck.

Thing is this if she planned to murder him why do anything but drive there ie the condos shoot him multiple times then clean up the scene & leave. She messed up calling the law on herself. If I am breaking into your home I am not ratting myself out or even letting U or anybody else know I am on my way over. This deleting fb deal is over rated & shows zero premediation.

The judge denied to further discuss the case during the Friday morning hearing, and instead told Hubers and her attorney to return after 3:30 p.m. when another bond hearing would end to discuss Hubers' case further, but that meeting was canceled after a bond agreement was reached. Judge Thomas would not release the details of the agreement until after 3 p.m.
9 News will post any new information that comes from the bond agreement Friday afternoon as soon as it is available.

Shayna drove what type of car ? Cause you should be able to get a good deal on her vehicle ? I know she will need some commissary. Does the state of Ky have one or two women`s prisons ? She isnt even used to county jail yet. I bet you she feels worse right now than she did last friday. REALITY hit her.

Her mother was with her in the area that day up to some point. Did she drop Shayna off, go back to Lexington? Did they both drive to Northern Ky?

Theory: Shayna and her mother drove together to Northern KY, shopped or whatever, and mom dropped Shayna at Ryan's after being told he was expecting her, they had plans the next day, he'd bring her back to Lex.
He was angry that she showed up, they argued, he told her it was over and she lost it and shot him.
I asked several people at work today if they heard shots, a thump, etc. would they call 911 immediately. One said she would note the time, but not call. One said she wouldn't call. One would have called. I live in luxury condos and although they're very insulated, I would hear gunshots and if a man hit the floor that was also my ceiling, I'd hear it. So the neighbors hearing but not calling isn't that unusual, sadly.

I think she might have thought she'd get a different reaction and outcome when she dropped in there. When she didn't, he told her to leave and possibly was attempting to push her out the door, she grabbed the gun and shot him. If mom did drop her off she was there without a car being kicked out - and she flipped out.

Then somewhere, from someone, told the media that she had spent the day in Northern Kentucky with her mother. Maybe they lied, I don't know, but it was reported.
And please try to refrain from instructing people to stop speaking. It's very rude no matter which of us is misinformed.

Lets check phone records before we speculate if Ryan knew if she was coming over last week or not. Realize this happened 2 hrs shy of a week now. This is not law & order or CSI legal cases take time. I have read some gossip of both sides on this very forum ie Shayna had a key & Shayna had previously broken in. I dont know. My theory is her mother made Shayna turn herself in & call the law. Shayna`s mother did not aide or abate her daughter.

"Hubers graduated from Lexingtonís Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in 2009. In the fall of 2010, she made the Deanís List at the University of Kentucky as a sophomore psychology major. Zevely said she is close with her parents, and her mother spent the day with her in Northern Kentucky prior to the shooting"

Zevely is her attorney. Take it up with him.
